Chapter Two

Alice's Pov
It was another silent day through out the house. Minus the melody of Edward pressing into the piano keys. I was flipping through the magazine circling different things I would order for next season. I fluttered my eyes a couple times when I was pulled into such a hallow and quick vision so abrupt, I didn't feel prepared.

"I don't know Emmett. I like eating outside its too noisy in here."

"Would you stop being a baby Melody and sit with my family we don't like anyone in here either." I focused on the brown skinned girl with such smooth looking skim that glowed, her short curly afro as she smiled at Emmett shaking her head. She waa glowing.. And she wasn't a human while she approached the table all of us glanced up at her she had a large bounce km her step.

She glances from between Emmett, the fading noise of the cafeteria seemed to fade.

"I'm Melody." I was pulled from the hallow vision a smile growing across my face quickly looking up when Jasper touched at my arm it grounded me for just a split second to feel my power fade for a second.

"What is it?" He was so tender with his touch, yet I was still in awe like I could feel her glow his fingers moving across the ice that was my own skin. The one day when Emmett goes to school by himself and he changes the whole course of not just his future, yet everyone's all at once.

I wasn't even sure if it waa a good or bad thing, I just know I indeed  happy.

"I think Emmett just met our Coven Mate." I exclaimed in awe. It caused for everyone doing various items to stop what they were doing moving towards the living room. In quick shuffles.

"A coven mate?" Jasper repeated looking confused glancing towards Carlisle who looks more than intrigued his eyes growing wide for a minute.

"What's that?" Rosalie questioned trying to hide her irked jealously about Emmett being away and by also having him mentioned.

"I've only ever read about it in old books.  I thought it perhaps was a myth. It's were we all have a mate.." I smiled nodding tossing away the magazine sitting up further into the couch cushions.

"She's beautiful but I don't think she's a human... She seemed to be glowing like am ethereal sort." I dropped my voice to a soft muttered rubbing at my lower lip a couple times.

"Wait I'm like genuinely confused so it's like.. What would she be towards us?" Edward's question was valid while he leaned against the piano folding his arms further rubbing at his own arms.

"Anything but it feels more romantic." I said softly nodding, I felt so much excitement a coven mate! Maybe this is what our family was missing. The void had been there for a couple centuries after Jasper was turned.

It felt almost bland and boring repeating going to school, and actually finding something that was enjoyable.

She could help Jasper with his blood control, and Edward  could have his mate and not be alone and all grouchy. No scratch that she was our mate.Rosalie could have a self care partner and everyone just had something they could teach her.

Everyone was asking me small details the best they could. I didn't want to spoil too much about everyone's first meeting with her I wanted it to happen all naturally, while not interfering.

"A coven mate." Carlisle said again chuckling shaking his head a few times messing with his hair. Rosalie turned her attention towards the door as Emmett walked inside the house heading towards the kitchen.

"I met the coolest human today!" I found myself giggling all giddy like rocking myself on the couch. And so it has begun. Yet it hit me.

I didn't exactly know when she was going to be meeting us all. She just met Emmett what if it takes a month? I mentally found myself groaning laying my head back against the couch.

"Don't use your power on me." I grumbled cutely towards Jasper. He sent me a soft playful eye roll before kissing at my cheek a couple times.
