Paintbrush reached out to her, holding her hand in hers and pressing the bristles to the canvas, slightly applying pressure so Lightbulb can do exactly the same and follow their hand movements too. "Omga—wow Painty! You're really good at this painting thing, you know, if I was an artist, I'd certainly draw you, hehehe!!" Lightbulb chuckled innocently as Paintbrush let their hand fall, leaving Lightbulb all alone to create something.

"Anyone can really be an artist, you know... and art isn't surrounded by papers and pens, or brushes and paint. It needs to be something more obscure that really shows off genuine physical talent, could be a visual object, could be anything, really..." Paintbrush claims and a smirk on Lightbulb's face instantly widened.

She dumped the brush into a bucket of red paint and immediately splashed it right in the center of the canvas, soon adding little legs around it and two back eyeballs. "Baxtor is a piece of art!" She exclaimed, absolutely proud of her masterpiece.

"Uhh..." Paintbrush strokes a hair behind their ear, pulling a paintbrush from their ear and then addressing her artwork. "I absolutely love it, Lightbulb... but you need to remember that Baxtor's eyes aren't on his body! It's not the accurate anatomy of a crab."

"Oh!! You're right! Maybe that's why he looked a bit off for me..." Lightbulb shrugged, "what does he look like again? I mean, hey! I just got back from the season, I haven't seen my baby in a while!" Lightbulb raised her hands as an expression while talking, then turned back to her artwork.

Paintbrush dipped their smallerbrush in the same red paint Lightbulb used, then painted over the black dots on Baxtor's body, skillfully transforming that darker color as a shading on Baxtor's body. Then going in with another code of red to create two peduncles and Baxtor's lively eyes at the tips of them.

"So this is how you paint Baxtor, you got the body down but remember the crab's eye proportions that really make up most of his look, you got that Lightbulb?" Paintbrush turned to their student who wasn't really paying attention, but she nodded and kept staring off. "H—Hey!! Lightbulb?!"

"OMGA— sorry!"

"You need to pay attention to my art lesson! Otherwise, what am I even here for?!" Paintbrush shouts in annoyance then turns to their student, who seemed to have a statement she would like to add.

Lightbulb raised her hand, really emphasizing the teacher-student dynamic and waited for them to call on her. With an aggravated sigh, Paintbrush groans, "Yes... Lightbulb?"

"You're here for a lot of things, Painty!" Lightbulb smiled, trying to win them back over with sympathy, but Paintbrush raised an eyebrow, they weren't oblivious like her. "List at least 3 reasons why I'm even here."

"To reach me how to paint, for me and for Baxtor!" Lightbulb exclaimed, then turned to them again. "There are many more reasons, but I don't want to say them all—" Lightbulb spoke before Paintbrush sighed, "those aren't even good reasons..."

"What...? I'm— I'm not a good reason?" Lightbulb frowned, feeling her voice crack.

"Shit... no— Lightbulb that wasn't what I meant!" Paintbrush immediately took it back, realizing the wrong words that came out of their mouth. "No... I— I'm so sorry Lightbulb... I— I meant that... being here for you is a given and that it doesn't count! B—Because I'm always here for you." They reassured, then reached a hand to Lightbulb's shoulder.

She crossed her arms, feeling offended at what Painty had said and nothing was able to sugarcoat it anymore. "Ugh— your pretty judgemental, I don't appreciate that kind of behavior even if you're not on my team anymore!" She scoffed, hinting a little bit of joke in her voice.
