merie pov:

two days later, march 28

I choose to dance to I Was Made For Dancin' by Leif Garrett, I started practicing on the day I got the news so I had most of the dance down there was just this one part I kept messing up on and there was one more day left.

"damn it!" I exclaim my mom must've heard me say that cause the next thing I know my door swings open, "merie what's wrong are you okay?" my mom says, "yeah I'm fine its just that I keep falling on this one move, like I can do the move by itself but when I try to put it in with the dance I fail." I say showing her the move.

"hm how about you do the move by itself a couple of times then do it with music but do it slow dont worry about being off track, then after you've tried it do it with the song normally, lets see how that goes." my mom explains. "alright" I say nervously, I only have one more day left I need to get this down.

my mom had left me to finish practicing for the day I started doing the move by itself slowly then doing it faster. a few minutes later I had felt like I got it down so I added the music and now here I am the song getting closer to the part I mess up on
