It wasn't until Slipstream's death , did HeatWing have enough and joined The Autobot's , Windblade was the first to give him a chance .Vowing Revenge against The Decepticons , mainly Bludgeon , it took him some time to trust any Mech or Femme again , HeatWing also vowed to remain silent , for He lost his entire personality the day Slipstream died
HeatWing adjusted to life as a Autobot and a life without Slipstream , though this didn't stop him from getting Nightmare's . Taking Notice , Optimus Prime assigned him to be Arcee's partner , HeatWing claimed to not care about her , but he actually did , a lot and they eventually became a couple
