Hi readers
Ishq you all 🌹
Author’s POV:
Priya lay on James’s bare chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. The warmth of his skin enveloped her, and she thought to herself,
"I will tell you the truth, James. I can’t live without you."
---
Morning:
Priya quietly slipped out of bed early in the morning, careful not to wake James.
Back in her room, she left a note on the desk before getting ready. She bathed in cold water, but the chill didn’t affect her.
Afterward, she dressed in a traditional green saree, her heart set on what was to come.

Author’s POV:
After breakfast:
Priya went to the temple where Vikram and Jenny had visited before. She stood there, waiting for James. He arrived after a short while.
“What did you want to tell me?” James asked.
“The truth,” Priya replied. “James, I love you. I can’t live without you.”
“Huh, and what about my love? You threw it away like trash and left,” he responded, hurt clear in his voice.
“That’s not true, James. My situation was different. You don’t know what happened,” Priya said, her voice trembling as she recalled the painful events. “The day we graduated, my family found out about us. My father threatened to kill you. I didn’t have any other choice.”
James looked at her, the weight of her words sinking in.
“I’ve been alone for five years, James. Not a single day has passed where I didn’t think of you. My existence is tied to you. You don’t understand.”
Tears welled up in her eyes as she hugged him tightly. “James, I swear on this god, I never betrayed you. I was just scared something would happen to you.”
James wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer. “Why didn’t you tell me this before, Priya? Five years… why?”
“I’m sorry, James,” Priya whispered. She stepped away briefly and reached for her bag. From it, she took out a sacred thread. “You married me in your tradition. Now marry me in mine. Let’s be together forever.”
James took the thread from her and gently tied it around her wrist.

James’s POV :
I can’t even imagine how much pain my baby girl has been through all these years. I misunderstood her… I treated her so badly. This is all my fault.
“Everything will be okay now, baby girl.”
We spent some quiet time at the temple before sneaking back to the haveli.

Night :
“Jenny, I’m sorry,” Vikram said, regret in his voice.
“Get out, Vikram. Go to your Anjali,” Jenny snapped.
“It’s not like that, Jenny,” Vikram tried to explain.
“I don’t want to hear it. If you won’t leave, I will,” she said, storming out of the room.
Vikram followed her to the kitchen.
“Shourya, give us a minute. Don’t let anyone come inside,” Vikram instructed.
“Jenny, it wasn’t what you think. It was a mistake.”
She glared at him. “Oh, so you accidentally fell on her? Great.”
“Oh, my jealous biwi” Vikram teased, moving closer.
“Don’t come near me,” Jenny warned, her anger simmering.
He ignored her, pressing his lips to hers.
“I said no, Vikram,” she muttered.
But he kissed her again.
“Stop,” she said weakly.
Again.
“Vikram…”
This time, he kissed her deeply, and despite herself, Jenny’s knees buckled. The kiss grew more passionate, intense… until—

" Burst"The kitchen door burst open as James and Priya, lost in their own world, in their romantic long lip kiss.
“James!” Jenny exclaimed.
“Jenny!” James echoed.
“Priya!” Jenny gasped.
“Bhaiyaa!” Priya chimed in, shocked.
Their stunned voices echoed through the room, as the four stood frozen, caught between embarrassment and amusement.
