Jungkook leaned back in his chair, kicking his feet up on the desk as he scrolled through his phone, oblivious to the storm brewing beside him. Taehyung sat across the table, fingers tapping impatiently on his notebook. They'd been working on their architecture project for hours, but Taehyung's mind was far from the blueprints spread before them.

It had started small-Jungkook mentioning the girl in passing. A quick comment about her smile, the way her eyes lit up when she talked about her passions. At first, Taehyung had laughed it off, teasing him about his sudden interest in someone outside their usual circle. But the more Jungkook talked, the more Taehyung felt something ugly clawing at his insides.

Now, weeks later, Jungkook was completely wrapped up in her.

"I'm meeting her tonight," Jungkook said casually, not even looking up. "We're going to check out that new café near campus."

Taehyung's jaw tightened. He should have been used to this by now, the constant talk of her, the way Jungkook's eyes softened whenever he brought her up. But it still burned, every damn time.

"So, you're ditching me for her again?" Taehyung's voice was smooth but laced with a sharpness that didn't go unnoticed.

Jungkook sighed, finally glancing over. "Come on, Tae. We're together all the time. It's just one night."

"That's what you said last time."

Jungkook frowned but didn't argue. He knew how possessive Taehyung could get, how easily his temper flared over the smallest things. But this-this felt different. Taehyung had always been intense, protective even, but lately, something darker lurked beneath the surface. The way he glared whenever the girl's name was mentioned, the subtle digs at her whenever Jungkook wasn't paying attention.

Taehyung stood abruptly, shoving his chair back as he stalked toward the window. His eyes were cold, locked on the horizon like he could see straight through it.

"You think she's worth it?" he muttered, his voice low. "You think she cares about you the way I do?"

Jungkook tensed, unsure where this was going. He set his phone down, suddenly aware of the distance growing between them, not just physically but in a way that twisted something inside him.

"What are you talking about?" Jungkook asked, his tone soft, almost pleading. He didn't want this to turn into a fight. Not again.

Taehyung turned, his gaze sharp, like a blade ready to cut through the air between them. "You don't get it, do you? She's just using you. She doesn't care about you, not like I do. Not like I always have."

Jungkook blinked, stunned by the intensity of his words. "Tae, she-"

But Taehyung didn't let him finish. He stepped forward, closing the distance between them in an instant, his hand gripping the back of Jungkook's chair. "If you keep chasing after her, you'll lose me. And you know damn well you don't want that."

The threat was clear, the possessiveness in Taehyung's eyes unmistakable. Jungkook's heart raced, torn between the girl who made him feel alive and the friend he couldn't imagine his life without. He hated this, hated the way Taehyung made him feel guilty for something as simple as falling for someone.

"Tae, she's not-" Jungkook started, but the words died in his throat when he saw the look on Taehyung's face.

Something had snapped in him. It wasn't just anger anymore-it was jealousy, a deep, consuming rage that Taehyung couldn't hide any longer.

"You think I'm just going to let you walk away from me for her?" Taehyung's voice was low, dangerous. "You're mine, Jungkook. You always have been."

Jungkook's breath caught. He didn't know how to respond to that, how to deal with the twisted truth lacing Taehyung's words. Part of him knew that Taehyung wasn't lying. They'd always been inseparable, bound together by something more than just friendship. But now, it felt wrong-tainted by whatever dark obsession had taken root in Taehyung's heart.

Before Jungkook could say anything, Taehyung smirked, stepping back. "But fine. If you want her so badly, I'll make it easy for you."

Jungkook frowned, confused by the sudden shift. "What do you mean?"

Taehyung's eyes gleamed with something dangerous, something that made Jungkook's stomach twist with unease. "I'll make her mine. If I can't have you, no one can. Not even her."

Jungkook froze. He wanted to protest, to say something-anything-but the words wouldn't come. Taehyung's possessiveness had always been there, lurking beneath the surface. But this-this was something else entirely. Something darker. Something he didn't know how to stop.

And as Taehyung turned to leave, a chilling smile playing on his lips, Jungkook knew that nothing would ever be the same between them again.
