Knowing the fight (chapter 15)

A/n - wrote this  in my free period yall #being a sophomore is kinda tough this year but fun , pulled this chapter from my ass tho so yippeeeeeee

"You keep calm yeah?"
Price gently patted your shoulder as his hand made it to the back of your neck as he grounded you as your breathing picked up slightly.
"Yeah...yeah...."
You caught yourself as you started to let your head clear slightly. As price nodded to you your head perked up as you heard a chopper come from the distance.You hear the distant sound of helicopter blades slicing through the air, coming closer and closer. The noise gets louder and louder, until suddenly you see the helicopter emerge over a hill in the distance, painted a grim dark grey. As it approaches, you notice the thick armor plating covering the outside of the aircraft,. The sound of the rotor blades become deafening as it approaches, leaving no doubt that this mission will grow bigger. Most definitely it will. The helicopter came down and lowered close to yall to the ground , the roaters spinning quickly around as it caused the loose dirt on the ground to kick up and cause a dust cloud as the aircraft started to land.The loud noise of the spinning roaters slowing down as it soon hit the ground.

"Heli is here. Earlier then expected."
Ghost announced gruffly as he walked over with soap , Alejandro and the others stepping outside looking at you and price first , watching as price pulled away giving you a small nod.
"So I'm guessing his is goodbye eh ?."
Alejandro spoke up , looking you over.
You gave a small nod as well as price did , ghost on the other hand keeping quiet per usual.
"This won't be farewell forever hermano."
Soap spoke up and gave a small countent look as he shook Alejandro's hand.
"Never."
Alejandro responded back with a small gesture.
"We'll keep in touch. Knowing 141 you'll be back."
Ale looked at price and the gruff old man nodded.
"Most certain."
Price spoke up.
You kept quiet watching as them as the copter landed , ghost soon waved off along with soap , price follwing behind them , price knew that you'd come on your own terms. You always did.

Raven stood currently out in school , sitting outside as it was the end of the day and she got finished with her extra curricular activities. It was tough on her , you being gone as well as your parents , the difficulties knowing that your off somehwere and could be dead , the thought floating around her mind freely. She sighed she stood holding a picture of you in your basic training uniform , one you had given her as a sort of keepsake to know that you were still around. as she looked over her picture she looked up as she heard footsteps near her , looking up she saw two girls she was having issues with. One girl being named Jess while the others name was Alexa. Both girls had been giving Raven a hard time as she struggled with socializing in school.

"Hey Raven."
Jess said in a fake sweet tone as she looked over Raven. Raven looking up having a unamused look on her face.
"What do you want."
Her eyes narrowed as she moved away slightly as Alexa was a little too close for comfort, causing Raven to stand up and back away
"Just curious as to what you got there."
Jess snatched the photo from ravens hands , Raven immediately grabbing her wirst tightly trying to snatch it back but she wasn't quick enough and got pushed away.
"Give it back you fucking bitch."
Raven snapped.
"What? This your mother or something?"
Jess giggled as she was close to crumpling the photo.
"No it's none of your business."
Raven glared as she quickly kicked her off her foot slightly grabbing the picture back as the girl focused on her balance as she titured slightly.

Raven grabbed the picture of you and quickly pocketed it and glared at the two girls in front of her. Jess quickly stood up , her eyes narrowing as she looked at Raven.
"Well whoever it is is probally out there dead in he middle of nowhere."
Jess huffed and Raven just stopped for a moment. She stared dead as Jess before putting her book bag down and and looked at Jess before kicking her harshly in her side and throwing a few punches , Alexa yelping in surprise as she watched as he freind got punched out. Other kids that had been sprinkled around started to crowd around as the fight started.

It was going to be a long afternoon.

The feeling of the wind kicking up on your face from the spinning of the helicopters roater blades , yous skin slightly growing bumpy as goosebumps grew and littered your body at the sudden change in temperature. You were about to turn on your feet but Alejandro whistled up to you and you quickly turned your head as if it was on a swivel and you looked at him.
"Keep your head up Hermana , fight the good fight and fight for what you must protect smoke."
Alejandro's words rung out in your head.

Fight for what you must protect.

Raven.

You gave a sharp nod looking him over as you watched him give you a small smirk watching as there was a sharp flicker of determination yet anger slipped through showing. He knew how important family was and he knew you would do anything to protect it. He could see it in you but for now it was a simple waiting game , you nodded up at alejandro and you raised your fist as a determine goodbye gesture.
"Always , keep fighting."
You pledged and Alejandro let out a small chuckle watching as you walked off quickly going off into the helicopter, the door siding closed behind you as you then sat down in your usual spot.

There was a lot to be done once back at base an price even knew that you wouldn't let up.

It was only a matter of time.

For one thing was Brewing as others lied around a bay for one stood outside not knowing of the others dismay. For you too could know real soon , it was only a matter of time before it could hit noon.
