I flashed a last smile in Kaly's direction before jumping back on my bed and starting to scroll through my phone again. Maybe she hated me now, but who cared? It's not like I ruined a childhood friendship. Either way, that guy wasn't good for her anyway. One of those who act nice but are the biggest assholes on earth.
She growled and flashed her teeth at me, two of them were dangerously long. How Interesting. I sat up and tilted my head to the side.
"Don't tell me you're a vampire." I hated those. Those little mind reading Bloodsuckers. Digging into someones pasts and most intimate thoughts. My mental shields immediately went up.
Her eyebrows shot up as she let out a laugh: "Huh, a vampire?" Another laugh:"A vampire...hmm... no I am not a vampire" Her words were interrupted by laughing. A sigh of relief escaped me but what was now going on?
"You wish I would be one." Her eyes glowed purple and she flashed me a predatory smile: "Because you know what? I'll make you're life living hell"
My eyebrows furrowed: "You making MY life to hell?" I grinned: "Sweetheart you are not able to do that"
She turned and flipped her hair at me:"We'll see" Beautiful brown golden hair, not very long but long enough... I stopped at my own thoughts. What the fucking hell? Cut it out Sam I told myself. I wasn't 15 anymore. Not a little kid having one of these silly...
Kalyani opened some drawers of her desk to take something out completely ignoring me.
My eyes shot up to her and I followed every movement. How her fucking hips swayed when she moved. How her blue eyes sparkled with amusement knowing how much she provoked me with ignoring me.
No one just ignores me. That woman was getting more irritating with the second. I clenched my jaw, fury surging through me. Bitch. She would see what she would get out of this.
Little did I know what I would get out of all this. Starting with me staring at her the rest of the day.
Kalyani POV
I had just taken out my drawing things and sat down at my table but I could already feel him raging. A smile curved at my lips as I started sketching knowing that he wasn't used to such treatment. How the mighty has fallen.
Soon I didn't even notice his presence anymore to caught up in my drawing. In my own world, a perfect world that I created, where no one was unhappy. Especially not me.
I was done with my drawing and raised my head looking in Sam's Direction and was greeted by a pair of dark blue eyes staring into mine.
Goosebumps spread over my back, my arms even my legs. I returned back to my drawing and bit down on my lip. Beautiful, no perfect. I smiled: "It's perfect."
I stood up and stretched myself. Fuck was I stiff. How long had I drawn? One look out the window and my jaw dropped to the floor. It was dark outside.
Sam's low voice cut through the silence:"If you're asking yourself how late it is" He also rose to his feet:" It's almost midnight." His footsteps came closer but I didn't bother looking at him as I searched for something to clean my hands of the blood, nothing unnormal for me. Drawing for so long sometimes affected my hands but that was alright, everything for the perfect result.
"Hmmmm.... beautiful. You're quite good. Would be a shame if someone destroyed it..." I turned around:"What?" My eyes widened as he folded the drawing and tugged it in his pocket. "YOU!" I took a step forward but he just.... vanished. Dark smoke lingered in my room and I growled. Asshole.
My fist clenched and unclenched. Fine. I'll play his game. A quick glance to his side of the room and I knew exactly knew what to do. Luckily for me I still had that one lighter that my brother once gifted me.
I ha to be fast if I wanted to finish everything before he decided to come back. With the room reeking of alcohol he must have some stocks in here. As quickly as I could I went trough his things and luckily found a whole bottle of vodka. Jackpot.
A smile curved at my lips and I started emptying the bottle over his bed and desk. A little twinge of guilt came over me but I ignored it. He deserved to sleep on the floor. With that I set his things on fire.
The brightness of the fire blinded me and I had to half close my eyes. The fire wanted to spread but it didn't, of course not. I wasn't an Idiot. With some right placed runes the wouldn't, couldn't spread. That was one of the advantages of being able to use magic.
I lay down on my bed. Now I just had to wait, wait until he had a floor decorated with ashes. I flicked the lighter in the air then caught it, again and again and again.
Waiting for him to come back. To see that I was the wrong one to mess with.
Sam POV
Who knew that my new enemy was heartbroken. A little trustful heartbroken fox. This was getting more and more interesting with the second.
I smiled and stared at the pictures this would be more fun than I thought. What little secrets do you keep Kalyani. Those teeth and the purple eyes. It would be fun to find them out, to squeeze them out of her until she is drained and there is no lust of life more within her.
"Why are you staring at this goddamn painting 24/7" Nora smacked me on the head her eyes glistening furious! "I'm here meeting up with you even if I can't stand the smell of smoke and you are staring at a painting with an eyes that cries!"
I snickered and stood up:"Yeah yeah. I'm sorry Nora.. buuuuut" I flashed her a smile:" I have to go."
"WHAT? The hell you will!" She tried to grab for me but I gave her a quick kiss on the forehead and teleported just to find ashes in front of me.
