I wouldn't say my life is perfect, But it's not bad either. Scratch that my life is bad, My mom is a drug addict and alcoholic and doesn't have a job. I stress more than she does cause not only do I work and go to school, I have to support my mom and myself. That's her job and her responsibilities. Every since my dad passed away last year, My mom started using drugs to ease her pain and started drinking and it got worst throughout the year.

Last year, My dad got shot and instantly killed for no reason. It probably was a reason why he was killed, but I was never told anything else about his death besides he was walking home then a man shot him.  Apparently it was a shoot and run and NO justice was served for him.

I work at Applebee's so I can pay bills and put food in our stomachs every night and morning. I save up my extra money just in case I want to buy myself something. My boss, Mrs.Ramona has sympathy for me, and let's me keep her tips cause her husband is very wealthy and she doesn't need the tip. Her tips have about 200$ weekly, which wasn't bad but it paid the bills of my apartment. Its Now 5:30, Which was time for
school.

I picked up my phone, I had a hand me down iPhone 5c From Mrs.Ramona. That lady is so nice i swear, and she even pays the bill to the phone. I text my lifetime best friend Veronica telling her I'll be picking her up at 6:30.

I got up out of my bed and went to my small bathroom and brushed my teeth and did my hygiene. I decided to dress a little cute since there's not much longer in school.

I put on tan cotton high waist shorts and a sheer black crop top you could kind of see my leopard bra through it but that's only if you look closely. I lotioned up with some plain dollar tree lotion, and some black peep toe Nine west, this outfit was about 50$ which was worth it. I put on some Victoria secret perfume out of the set , Mrs.Ramona bought me for my birthday last month.

I grabbed a basic black Indie purse and put my phone and my money I had which was about 300$ I got it so my mom wouldn't take it to buy drinks or drugs.

I grabbed my keys to my Nissan maxima 2008 which was also passed down to me from Mrs.Ramona, I really appreciate her for everything.I walked out my room and locked it. I mean my car wasn't the best, but it got me where I needed to be.

"Where the hell yo' ass going?" My mom slurred, it's obviously she was drunk.

"School, Where else?" I dryly responded. She rolled her eyes and got up in my face and the disgusting smell of liquor filled my nose."You not gonna disrespect me in my damn house." She pointed at me. I blankly stared at her, and how dumb she was. "Have you forgotten who actually has a job and pays the bills in this house?" I questioned her, clearly irritated. She rolled her eyes again and fell on the couch. I walked out the house locking the door and going to my car.

"Can you stop by McDonald's please girl?" Veronica asked me. "Yeah.. how do you feel about graduation being right around the corner?" I asked."I'm so ready for it to go ahead happen, school ain't for me at all"

"Word?"

"Word" she sighs.

"Good morning, welcome to McDonald's how may I take your order?"the girl asked with a tiring voice, "what you want?" I ask Veronica. "The regular" which was a sausage Mcgriddle with grape jelly. "Two sausage Mcgriddle's with 2 grape jellies please"
