They heard the banging and the wind gushing, and Marissa shot up, looking around. "Crap." She said to herself. Jose looked around as well. The banging on the door only got louder, the wind gushing even faster. Jose opened the cabin door, seeing nothing there. Then, there it was. A woman with long black hair and a white dress with pale skin. The color of paper. She came lunging at him, tackling him as she screeched. "УБИРАЙСЯ ИЗ МОЕГО ДОМА" The woman screeched in Russian. Marissa grabbed a katana, slashing the woman's head off. Jose kicked the body off him. "I have a feeling that wasn't a spirit." He said, then seeing the thing bleed purple. "Never mind." He said, kicking the body off him. "You're welcome!" Marissa yells. "I just saved your butt!" She said angrily. Jose rolls his eyes. "Thank you." He said sarcastically. Marissa just rolled her eyes. Jose kicked the body again, kicking it until it left the cabin. "When are we gonna get anything good?" He asked, annoyed. Marissa shrugged. "I don't know, but I wanna go home. I hate it here. I want my cat." She said, clearly upset. Jose looked at her with a 'really?' Look. "What is it with you and that cat? I get it, she's fluffy, cuddly, but come on. Even I don't care about my dog like that. Plus, my dog is in good hands, my brother is still there." He said. Marissa rolled her eyes. "Well while your brother is able to take care of your dog, nobody lives with me! I live alone!" She confessed. Jose's eyes widened. "What happened to your mom? I saw her like 3 months ago." He said, concerned. "She left! She got tired of me!" Jose's eyes widened. "What about your da-." He then remembered her dad walked out on her at the age of 3. "Sorry." Jose said quietly, feeling insanely guilty. Marissa just sighed. "It's fine, I don't care."

Marissa was laying down on the bed, next to Jose. Not what she planned, but she trusted him enough. Her back was facing Jose as she tried to sleep. Jose still felt really bad. He put his hand on Marissa's shoulder. "I'm sorry." He whispered. "It's fine, really." Marissa responded. Jose still felt bad. He had always been really sensitive at times. After a few minutes, a few tears left his eyes, thinking about what a douche he was. Marissa could hear him crying and put her hand on his, holding it as her finger rubbed his hand. He sniffled and smiled softly. Marissa turned around and ruffled his hair, then, kissing his cheek. "I said I forgive you, now toughen up, ya big baby." She chuckles. Jose chuckled as well, blushing slightly at the kiss. "Alright, alright." He chuckles quietly. Marissa hugged him, holding his head against her chest. Jose tensed for a moment, but got comfy and wrapped his arms around her waist, dozing to sleep.
