~One month later~

Me and Louis had been dating for just over a month now, and i want to tell Zayn because i hate lying to him. Every time i see him i just want to blurt it out, i absolutely hate lying to him. I had just woken up and it was Friday, louis would be here in 20 minutes to pick me up for work. Zayn had asked Louis to take me since he had to drive past anyway, and Louis definitely didn't say no to picking me up everyday.

I had finished getting ready when Zayn text me, i made my way downstairs confused why Zayn was picking me up. I got in the car and Liam was there as well, i said good morning to them both and we drove. "So where is Louis?" I ask "He said he wasn't coming in today, that is literally all he said" Zayn tells me and i nod. We arrive at the office and meet Niall and Harry and head up, we still gathered in Louis office even if he wasn't in. "So what do I actually do today if he isn't in?" I ask "Cancel his meetings because i know he has one, then im sure you can respond to a few of his emails then just see what else you can do" Niall tells me before they leave to do there own things.

Once they leave i cancel his meetings and reply to his emails, something just didn't feel right to me for some reason. I remember the boys telling me Louis never had a day off unless he was really sick, and i knew he wasn't really sick because he was with me last night. I decided to give him a call because i was worried, when i called he didn't answer so i tried again and he answered.

"Lou? Are you ok?" I ask but his line is quiet "Baby are you there?" I ask quietly "Mum's gone" is all i hear him say and my eyes widen "Baby I'll be there soon ok" i tell him and i just hear him sniffle before I end the phone. I call an Uber and collect my things before rushing out the office, i bump into Niall making him drop some papers. "Niall im so sorry!" I say and help him pick them up "it's fine Love why you in such a rush?" He asks "Umm i cant say but tell Zayn im going home i gotta go quick, tell him im fine though i just gotta help a friend" i say and he nods and i rush off.

I jump in my uber and take it to Louis's house, i get there and jump out going to his front door. I open it since he gave me his spare key incase of emergency's, i take my shoes off and put my bag down. I look around for him downstairs but he wasn't there, so i head to his room upstairs and see him laying in his bed. His eyes were red like he had been crying for hours, i walk up to the bed and climb in with him. I hug him close and just let him cry on my shoulder, when he eventually stopped after what seemed like hours he pulled away.

"Baby why didn't you call me?" I ask softly running my hand through his hair, he just sighs and shrugs not really knowing what to say. "im so sorry Baby i can't imagine how you feel right now, but she's in a better place now she's not in pain" i tell him and he nods. "Would you like me to make you s tea?" I ask and he nods "Please" he asks in raspy voice and i nod. I kiss the top of his head and get out of his bed, i walk downstairs and make his tea. I check my phone to see texts from Zayn.

Zaynie: Niall said you left in a hurry
Zaynie: Is everything ok?
Zaynie: Should i come over?
Zaynie: Please answer im worried Ri
Zaynie: Please just tell me your ok
Me: Im fine Z sorry i didn't want to make you worry, my friend is just in a bad place atm and she needed someone
Me: Ive told Louis but he didn't answer ig he is asleep
Me: I have to go ill text you later Z
Zaynie: Ok as long as your ok sis

I made Louis's tea and walked back upstairs to his room, he was texting someone when i i came in the room. He took the tea and thanked me, we sat in silence me not knowing what to say and louis just out of words. "Thank you" he says and i turn my head to look at him "For what?" I ask "For being here with me, not laughing at me for being upset or whatever" he says looking down "Baby i would never laugh at you for being vulnerable, why would you say that?" I ask him running my hand through his hair again. "When I cried in front of my ex she laughed, she said men shouldn't show their emotions" he tells me. "Well she is a bitch mens emotions are just as important as women's, especially with what is happening right now" i say and he nods.
