Cabby x Child! Reader

It was the end of the challenge and elemination ceremony. Cabby rolled around the island, taking in the warm, tropical nighttime breeze.

She was close to being eliminated, and she was just trying to get rid of some tension and stress when she heard something rustling in the bushes. Cabby rolled over to take a look at the cause of the sound, and believe it or not, there was a child hidden away in the bushes.

They seemed to be unconscious, twitching slightly as the breeze blew.

"Aw, you poor thing..." Cabby whispered, reaching her hand out to stroke the child's head. They were very cold...

Cabby had a sense of unease in her as she felt no warmth from the child's body. She picked up the child and went to her cabin, placing the child's unconscious body on her bed.

A few hours passed, and the child woke up. "Where am I," they quietly said, fear coating their words. 

The child pulled at the periwinkle blankets covering themselves. They were obviously scared, their lips turning pale. Tears started to stream down their cheeks.

Cabby rolled over and hugged the child, whispering in their ear, "Don't worry... You are under my protection."

The child started to cry, "Mommy told me to wait on this island as she went to do something. She never came back."

Cabby gasped as the child explained how their mother abandoned them on the island that Invitational was being hosted. She just hugged the child tighter, comforting them.

Alr this was in my mind for a while and I got it out. Yay

Also, I won't be doing the Airy x Algebralien reader, sorry to whoever requested that. (I forgot who requested that lol)
