Aria POV:
As I watched Jake lead the way while he talked with Sunghoon, I started to overthink, why was I chosen for this? Where did these two men even come from? How old are they exactly? Are they immortal?
"We're here." Jake spoke, breaking me out of my trance.
There stood a big black manor, smoke rising from the manor, the type of place you've imagined when you think of a haunted house . The door had two golden handles and was decorated with blood and skulls, screaming death. There were three floors, each floor looking smaller than the other, every single light off, making the search even harder.
Sunghoon breathed in a harsh breath then said, "Okay, this is the first manor, it should be open but what we need from here is the key to open the cage when the crystal lays, and Sunoo. "Think you can handle it?" He looked down at me.
I nodded my head in agreement, not ready for the unknown wonder behind the big black obsidian doors.
Jake threw a handgun at me, it was new, I could tell by how shiny and silver it was. It felt very heavy in my hands, I tried to position it in my hands, just in case.
"You'll need it." Jake giggled, while he opened the manor doors. The manor doors opened with a CREEK and immediately we were met with darkness. I felt myself position the handgun while I shook in fear. We slowly walked into the manor then suddenly the lights turned on with the first step. When the lights turned on the first floor of the manor was exposed, it was all white, and decorated with gold statues, there were many chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, threatening to fall if it was given a hard enough push.
"Be cautious." Sunghoon spoke with a whisper. As we all stepped into the man we heard some low growls coming from a specific corner. I pointed my handgun to all the corners to try and locate where the sounds were coming from. Then suddenly bloodthirsty zombies erupted from the corners, all gray and boney, white large eyes with red visible veins, like they were from another planet, saliva dripping from their mouths. I yelped in fear while Sunghoon fired at one of the zombies, instantly killing it.
"Shoot them in the neck!! It's their weak spot!" Sunghoon yelled. Jake immediately smiled and pulled out his gun, shooting the zombies in front of him in the neck. As the zombies itched closer to me, I didn't move, I was shaking in fear, it was like I was frozen. Sunghoon then saw me not move and shot the zombies.
"Try to at least help a bit!" Sunghoon yelled. I put my fingers over the trigger and shot the zombie and missed. Each bullet making me jump in fear, I shot again into the zombie's neck actually killing it. I breathed really hard, hoping that all of this was just a dream and I would wake up soon. As I was breathing in and out, a zombie came too close and attacked me, it triggered me and I shot it immediately, killing it instantly.
