Jane is cute

Ever felt like you wanted something so badly but can't have it ?
  That's exactly how I felt, about Angel.
 
I know I can't have her, but I'm not ready to let her go. I've come to see her as my best friend , my comfort when I want to escape from my problems.

  She just has something in her that makes me calm. Her presence just brings nothing but peace to my heart.

  Time seems to stop when I'm with her as her laugh fills the air like a melody I'd always want to hear.
    The way she smiles at me just gets my heart to beat uncontrollably.
I've never felt this way.

   If this was what they called love, then it is a beautiful feeling that just makes me wanna be able to talk to her all day, but then life comes and says keep dreaming.

I cherish every moment I spend with her.

   Right now as I was sitting in the class but not able to focus on the subject at hand. My mind was preoccupied by Angelina.
Suddenly Jane tapped my shoulder and I flinched due to the sudden touch,
He raised a questioning brow and asked "are you alright Noah?"
I nodded my head and just then the bell rang indicating the end of school.

I got up and packed my bag and left the classroom to a buzzing hallway. I noticed a crowd was formed near the lockers and some were recording on their phones. I had no business in it and was attempting to walk away from there when something or someone caught my attention.
There was a girl standing beside the locker she had glasses on and was standing timidly but that wasn't what caught my attention.

The only person who has brown Afro hair who does it in a ponytail and lets some strand fall on her face with brown light skin in this school was Angelina.
She was looking very serious standing in front of the girl and facing Aaron and his boys, the school biggest bullies.

She was glaring at them while they tried to touch her hair but I was shocked next.

I immediately came forward and was now in front of the crowd watch the drama onfold as she twisted the boy's hand and kneeled him in his stomach.
This caused a smirk to appear on my face and I folded my arms.

She had beaten the crap out of the boys but then I saw Aaron trying to grab her waist to hold her but she elbowed him from behind and oh My God she had grabbed his hand and flung him down from behind her.
My mind was blown!!

The boys scurried away and she turned to help the girl pick her book who was looking as shocked as everyone in the crowd.
Everyone started clapping.

I had to say I was feeling somehow proud. The crowd started disappearing after Mark told them to.

I got beside her and clapped my hands. "Wow I didn't know you could fight like that"
She smiled at me.
Jane came from no where and hugged her squealing like a girl I just rolled my eyes.
"You've got to teach me those moves!" He said.
She laughed and nodded at him.

She helped the girl and she muttered a thanks before scurrying away.
All the while I kept staring at her with a smile.
She raised a brow at me "what?"
I shrugged and she rolled her eyes.
The others were already in the car and we were lacking behind.

"So how did you learn those moves?"
I asked her and she shrugged.
"Really?"
She shrugged again and I rolled my eyes.
"Common speak up" I shook her shoulder lightly and she giggled.
"What I thought I'd just copy what you do most"
"Ok fine my Father's best friend is a boxer so I go there sometimes and he thought me" she said.

We continued to talk till we reach at the parking lot where Mark and Jane were arguing about who should take the shotgun.

"Am a kid?!! What are you?!" I heard Jane yelling at Mark who rolled his eyes. "Because your whining like a kid!"

Angel chuckled at their banter while Allias The driver sighed frustratingly.
I entered the back seat and my name was called.
Oh no I hate to be the judge.
Angel laughed when she saw the expression on my face.

"Yes?" I replied hesitantly.
"Who should be sitting here, when we were coming to school he said he'll sit here then when it's time to go home I'll sit here and....." Jane continued his long sentence.
Finally he finished and asked me. "Noah hurry up" said a frustrated Allias. "I'm thinking"
"Janeeee" I said and he beamed while giving Mark the 'I told you so look' oh oh
"Come sit beside me" I finished my sentence and his face drop while Mark had a smirk.
Angel was laughing hard and I only gave Jane an apologetic look.

He came and sat beside me and looked ready to bash someone's head. I gulped and knew that I'll not be speaking to him the rest of the day.
We finally left the school and we're on our way home. Jane was still having that look but I didn't mind cuz soon his going to give in eventually.
Even Angel didn't want to interfere.

I had an idea.
I leaned on the driver's seat and whispered something to Allias. We drove in silence until a few minutes when the car came to a stop and I stepped out. Then came back with a bowl of ice cream.
Jane's motto was written on the cover. 'What ice-cream cannot solve does not exist'
I had told them to write it down.

The car started and I gave it to him. "Who's favorite"
He didn't take it. Owwkayyy that's weird.

We arrived home and I quickly went to take a shower because I was stinking from the football practice we had in school.

Author's pov
Noah came down the stairs and went to the kitchen to have a glass of water but then he saw something that amazed him. Jane was stuffing himself with the ice-cream he bought and didn't even know someone was there. Except Angel who was cooking something and looking at him with a fund smile while he complained.

Noah leaned on the door frame and listened.
"It nowt faar" he said with his mouth full.
"He always supports them and not me, am I really bad. Am not a kid but that hippo doesn't get it. Is it that if someone has there first kiss is that when they aren't kids anymore?"
Angel chuckled and said. "No Jane your not bad and you aren't a kid. Your fifteen it's just that hippos don't reason and nooo the third one is wrong ok don't go around kissing girls and saying my brother said anyone who does this is not a kid anymore na'ah "
Noah watched this all while trying to suppress his laughter.
"No am sure it's that it's Allias who told me when I was eight."
What was he doing that time?" Angel asked
"Well don't tell anyone but I had seen them all sneaking out for a party without me when they were just eleven well I kinda followed them there but thank goodness nobody noticed an eight year old. I had seen Allias kiss a girl on the cheek and asked him then he told me this." Jane narrated and asked this time both Noah and Angel couldn't hold back.

"So Jane you finally exposed our little secret am very hurt" Allias said who had been listening to it the whole time.
" what you lied to me just so I wouldn't report you" Jane pointed an accusing finger at him.

"Anyway if Noah had taken my side for once I wouldn't have blurted it out" he turned to Noah.

"Oh cute Jane" Mark said.
"Am not cute am handsome!" He yelled and by now everyone was laughing at his expression.
He stood there with a pout. What did he do to deserve this even Angelina was laughing at him. He stood there on the verge of tears then ran upstairs. "I'm reporting you all to dad!" He yelled and slammed the door.

After the others had calmed down a little, they said simultaneously "what is life without Jane"
There was a pause and then an eruption of laughter occurred.
