TW: blood
"I'm tiredddddd..." moaned Danno. "Well maybe you shouldn't stay up editing videos until 4 AM," said his twin brother, Joey, playfully punching his shoulder. Danno snickered. "Yeah," he said, "I probably should." The twins were browsing through Crafts N' Stuff, this little arts and crafts place down the street from their house. Danno needed more graph paper since he'd burned through his last pack Just then a hyper toddler ran past him. "Ma'am? "Asked Joey, "Could you please control your child?" "I'm sorry," said the kid's mother. "My son was just at a party." "Ahhhh," said Joey knowingly. The 2 brothers continued walking, the kid running around them and his poor mother trying to catch him. The kid ran in front of Danno, and Danno, meaning to spare a tired woman some work, grabbed the kid and started walking towards the lady. The kid started kicking his legs. "NO!" he yelled. "DON'T WANT TO GO BY CAR! DON'T WANNA, DON'T WANNA, DON'T WANNA! Suddenly his foot caught on one of the shelves, and it started to tip towards them. Danno immediately dropped the boy and started to run...but he wasn't quick enough; the shelf crashed into him, slamming his head on the floor. He remembered staying conscious for long enough to hear Joey yelling and the lady screaming and seeing blood—LOTS of blood. "Huh," he thought dreamily. "There's blood on the floor. Is that... is that my blood all over the floor?" "Man," was his last delirious thought, "that's going to be REALLY hard for the janitor to clean up"...then everything went dark...
