Dull Colors... || Chromatober x Goretober 2024!!

#1 - Fair/Hypothermia

Here with some of the TSS cast, Sabre sets up a fair in the Rainbow Town to let the others have fun. But, whoops, looks like Rainbow's having a spurt of energy... Let's hope he's immune to his own frost. :)

"Aaaaaand... Done!"

Rainbow peered out from the window, watching Sabre curiously. Those were... a lot of redstone contraptions. He recognized the rollercoasters, to an extent, but the rest was completely unfamiliar to him.

Sabre walked out of sight, and suddenly, showed up beside Rainbow, startling him.

"Rrrrrrrrr..!~" Sabre began enthusiastically, rolling a drawn-out 'R', to which Rainbow began to mind in a similar fashion. "..Rainbow Steve!"

"Me!"

"The sky people have commented on things they wanted me to show you and the other steves." Sabre explained briefly, wrapping an arm around Rainbow, "So! I made a sort of... Fair! Carnival, amusement park, whatever!"

"... a what now."

Rainbow and the few other inhabitants of the Rainbow Town followed Sabre around as he explained things. Rainbow said what he said back to the others, who couldn't understand him like he could.

"... that's a carousel, and that's a dropper ride!" He finished explaining, before crouching to catch his breath. I snickered, grinning at him. "Well, you explained everything, so you can go wash that redstone and stuff off your onesie now."

Sabre nodded, standing up straight. "Right! Ahem.. POV switch!!! I'll be right back!" He ran off.

Rainbow looked back at the "fair", then towards the other steves. "Well, we better have some fun, then, huh?"

Rainbow... was not enjoying himself. Nuh-uh. He has been on approximately three rides now, after finally giving up the rollercoaster loop to someone else. After that, it seemed like everything was taken up... Which is strange, considering without Light, there's only 4 of them.

Well, the others were having fun, weren't they?

Rainbow went towards one of the bigger rollercoaster, only to be shoved aside as the Red Steve ran past to get on.

Yeah, no, this one was doing it on purpose. Rainbow was upset, but said nothing about it. He felt cold.

Carousel? Taken.
That dropper thing? Taken.
The rollercoaster loop? Free— wait, no. Taken.

Rainbow was growing more agitated by the second. But he'd be a bad friend or he blew up at him, wouldn't he? He wasn't like a Red Steve, he swore! He felt cold.

The Blue Steve noticed Rainbow's anger, and offered his spot on the bigger rollercoaster. Oh, well that's nice. Rainbow rode the roller coaster, and it cheered him up a bit. In the distance, he saw the Blue Steve chew the Red Steve out. Heh, funny.

... But then why was he still cold. No, like, really cold.

He looked down at his hands— they were turning a blue that wasn't his natural color. He wanted it to go away. He also wanted to call out for Sabre, but his tongue felt numb. Guess he'd have to figure something out himself.

The rollercoaster wasn't over. Rainbow didn't think he had the ability to use his powers right now, but he wanted out. He was cold.

Was it his powers? He could see frost forming around him. Yeah, his powers, then. Maybe it was because he was really upset earlier... No matter.

He just needed to suppress them until the ride was over... Just suppress... then...

He couldn't feel his body. Too cold.

He thinks he sees the Red Steve notice, maybe says something to him. Bastard. Meany.

He's too cold.

He thinks the Blue Steve notices now. Is he coming over?

It's much too cold now. It hurts. It hurts it hurts it hurts it

Oh. Everything is covered in ice. Rainbow was cold, but it was numb now. Is the Blue Steve telling the Red Steve something? Well, he ran off...

Oh well. He thinks he hears the Blue Steve say things to him. As much as he wants to pay attention, he really couldn't bother.

It was cold, and he could barely move without feeling like a ton of bricks were on him.

He's sleepy, though.

Maybe...

this is a bad dream...

A little nap should wake him up in the real world...
