Ethan's pov.

''Well well well, if it isn't alpha Aiden of blood moon pack''

''Well hello to and yes I'm alpha Aiden of blood moon pack and this is my beta- Kent Bridge''he spoke.

''Well it's nice to know that slum of a pack actually has an alpha o who am I kidding it's hilarious really I'm sure in a few months your pack 'll be back to ruins'' I sneered.

''I'm not here for a fight and we both know that if it wasn't a rule to meet with the most powerful pack I wouldn't be wasting my time chit chatting with you'' he replied.

'' it's good to know that at least you acknowledge the fact that I'm the most powerful'' I state and all this while his beta and mine were having a stare down.

I don't know why but I just hate weak packs like I seriously hate them and that's why I know my mate would be very strong and powerful like I am.

''Ok so I guess we sh-'' he was cut short by a call
''I'm sorry I have to take this''he said while making his way to the corner of the room.

I decided to use my heightened senses to listen to his conversation, wrong I know but I just had a feeling that I should.

''Electra just fainted'' I heard from the other line. The next thing I know Aiden's alpha tone booms.
''WHAT!!!!!!!!'' in a way I was jealous but I don't know why and also the tingling sensation in my body didn't go unnoticed.

''What do you mean she fainted'' Aiden asked being seemingly calmer than before.

''We were just about to sign in and she fainted and was rushed to the hospital but the doctor said it's nothing serious'' the person on the other line said

''Nothing serious? What the hell she is in the hospital and you say it's nothing serious you know what I'll be there very soon'' he said and hanged up.

I have a feeling that this ''she'' is his mate but still I am having this wierd feeling in the pit of my stomach.

''I'll be taking my leave now'' Aiden said already at the door.

After he left my beta who is also my best friend shared a look with me and said '''probably his mate'' and I growled yeah I f*cking growled.

I decided to leave my remaining work till tomorrow and go see my mother.

*knock*knock*

''Come in'' she said

''Mother how many times do I have to tell you to ask who is there before letting them in'' I faintly scolded her.
'' oh boy, why give yourself a headache over me like seriously do you think someone who wants to kill me would knock first''

''Oh well I guess you do have a point. Or maybe I'll connect that CCTV to your room also so you can see who is coming in.what do you think? '' I asked

''Lord, you worry too much son'' she replied

''Oh yeaahh I almost forgot, I'll be traveling next week'' she stated.
''What?! You should have told me earlier, damn it. Now I'll have to clear my schedule'' I said.
'' what? No no you don't have to bother yourself''
''Mother I can't let you go alone''

''Hey, I won't be alone since it's a month with my friends''

'' A MONTH!!!!!!' , I thought it was a few days, this is absolutely insane . I'm so not letting you leave the house without supervision for a month'' I said exasperated

''Please'' she begged and who am I to say no
'' Fine but just so you know someone 'll be watching over you and I'll come meet you as soon as my schedule is free''
''Yay'' and with that I left the room.

Getting to my room I meet Amanda in my room.
God can this day get worse.

Aiden's pov

Once I left full moon park I made my way to the hospital by road 'cause if we go in wolf form we'll have to pass through other packs and that's just stressful.

Once I get to the hospital I make my way to the reception.

''Please what room is Electra octave in'' I ask in a hurry

'' um please who are you to her'' she asked with a scowl.
''I'm her brother Aiden Ovtave'' and I saw her immediately brighten up.
'' well in that case she is in room 98''
''Thanks'' I said as she gave me a pass card with a piece of paper attached to it 'surprise surprise' it's her number, who would have guessed (pls note sarcasm).

I make my way to Electra's room and drop the piece of paper in a nearby trashcan.

At the door of Electra's room I meet the doctor
''Hey doc so how is her health?'' I asked.
''Umm who exactly are you to her'' he asked. Like seriously what's their deal with knowing who I am to her.

''I'm her brother and also her alpha'' I say knowing that he is a wolf.
''Oh I'm so sorry'' he says while slightly bowing.
''Yeah yeah so how is her condition?'' I ask
'' oh nothing serious her brain just had a slight over run causing her to loose consciousness'' he said.
''Okay so can I go in now? ''I asked
'' yeah sure go in, go in'' and he walked away.
I walked into the room to see Marcus sitting on a chair beside the bed.
''MARCUS'' I yelled
'' the hell, would you shut up n don't you know she needs the rest.'' He said and I reduced my voice .
'' Man, what happened to Electra?'' I asked
''We were just getting signed up when she fell''

''Guys shut the eff up'' she groaned.

Guys I'm so sorry for the late update and I just wanted to make it a little bit longer and oh yhhh TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY.
