He drives on, slowing down in front of his old school, where his mind is filled with doubts about whether he wants to abandon her.
His mind is suddenly flooded with memories. He remembers his first day of school, how he cried so badly that his mom didn't feel like leaving, and how she used to wait for him behind the school walls after school.
"She has taken such good care of me and here I am, about to dump her," he thought to himself as he drove on.
