Chapter 8

*A few days later...*

It was the day before the big day. Arrangements were being set, members getting hyped up for tomorrow and Chan looking at his kids in awe and pride.

Putting things together wasn't all peaches and cream. But hopefully everything would go well tomorrow.

Practice was done earlier than other days, so that Stray Kids could rest a bit more.

It was 7 pm, and the last few days have been quite tireing, but it would all be worth it tomorrow.

"Alright, guys", Chan said, "Our album's being released tomorrow. So I hope y'all are ready for the big day!"

"I'm the most excited", said I.N.

"Stop lying to yourself...", said Hyunjin, "Stay are obviously the most excited."

"True", agreed Changbin, "Now what's for dinner?"

All the members sat down on the couches in the living room, I.N immediately took out his phone and started texting 'Madam Tomato'.

What?!

Damn...
How are you?

Madam Tomato
What's it to you??!

Ya know- never mind...
Anyways, where are you?
At work?

Madam Tomato
No, bitch, I'm trapped in a fuckin' sand storm in the fuckin' North Pole!

I.N
Why are you replying so aggressively?! 😭

Madam Tomato
Just leave me alone, don't talk to me ever again! 😭😭

Hello?

Y/n's phone kept vibrating with messages from 'Bob'. She didn't want to chat with him or talk to anyone for that matter.

Her day had gone terribly. And as much as she didn't want to talk about it is as much as I, the author, did not want to write about it... But I'mma tell you anyways.

Firstly; her period started unexpectedly during the day, triggering her mood swings.

Secondly; she spilled coffee on her favourite pair of jeans.

And lastly; to top it all off, her ex boyfriend came to see her at work!

Their breakup happened about a few weeks ago, and Y/n honestly still had feelings for him.

He said he wanted to apologize and go back to the way things were before they broke up. But Y/n wasn't willing to put herself through all that shit again, now was she?

Plus, now she was practically dying from the period pains.

So with all this concluded, we can officially say that her mood swing levels were HIGH!

Now she was in the bathroom, crying her eyes out in one of the stalls.

The repeatedly incoming notifications were beginning to annoy her very much, so she subconsciously did what she felt was the right thing to do.

Y/n hurriedly went to her messenger app, tapping into her chats with 'Bob', and pressed the big red button written "BLOCK" at the bottom of the screen.

Then she placed the phone aside as she continued to cry.

A couple more minutes later, she finally stood up from the closed toilet seat and stepped out of the bathroom stall.

She stood by the sink and looked at herself in the mirror above the sink.

Her makeup was ruined and her eyes were red and puffy from crying too much.

Luckily, there was no body around. Y/n wasn't keen on being seen in this vulnerable state.

She turned on the tap and splashed her face with water a couple of times before looking at herself in the mirror image once more.

Then, she took some of the available paper towels and wiped off the remaining smudged makeup off of her face.

Y/n fixed her hair and tried to look as presentable as possible, even though she wasn't feeling at all well.

Then, she stood at the door, before saying to herself, "Just two and a half more hours until I get home." Then she sighed before turning the bathroom door's handle.

'Madam Tomato' wasn't replying,  and I.N was honestly concerned because of her unusual tone of aggression.

"I.N! We're ordering out, what do you wanna have?" Seungmin looked at I.N with an expressionless face.

"Uhm... I'll have some Bulgogi. I'm not really that hungry to be honest." He then focused back on his phone.

Meanwhile; Hyunjin was observing the maknae's behavior and his attachment to his phone.

The way I.N was constantly checking his phone as if he was expecting a call or important text from someone.

The question was who was he talking to?

Hyunjin's only gotten a few glimpses of I.N's phone a couple of times, and it seems he's been chatting with a contact with the name "Madam Tomato"

Sounds female, that's for sure.

And I.N seemed to have recently changed his password, so it was difficult getting into his phone. But Hyunjin was smart, he'd figure a way to get into his phone somehow.
