Thomas Pines had everything he could ever want. A worthwhile goal to investigate the mysteries of Trolberg? Check. New friends to do said investigations? Check. And most of all, a smoking hot MILF to share it all with? Check. While true that he didn't set out for most of these things beyond his investigations at first, he came to develop a close bond with Hilda, her family, and her friends. For a while, Thomas felt like it was all he ever really needed in his life. That is, until that day.
Thomas and Johanna were in the library. Whenever Hilda and her friends had trouble with something they couldn't figure out, they often visited the place for any solutions. And adding to their sources were two residents more often than not seen here: Kaisa the Librarian and her own husband, Victor.
As it turned out, the both of them were witches, but from different points of view. Kaisa was one on the grounds that she wanted to learn magic and show her efforts through protecting the knowledge here as Keeper of the Books. As for Victor, he was by all accounts a witch from the Demon Realm that was once under the rule of a tyrant named Emperor Belos. His rule nearly destroyed him and all the witches who lived in the Boiling Isles. But that was a story for another time.
In any case, Kaisa was the first to show him the Human Realm. And after consideration, he'd chosen to remain here with his first love. Now, like Kaisa, he has become a Keeper of the Books himself, one that was always the first to lend her a hand, and a leg if he needed to.
"There you are, Thomas, Johanna." Victor responded first with a courteous smile and a near-british accent. Kaisa helped him become familiar with Trolberg when he first visited. And he was especially impressed with Thomas Pines. So much so that occasionally, he'd offer his assistance on a more up close and personal stance when matters with witches were involved. His most recent escapade on such a matter was when Hilda had somehow become a troll. Where Kaisa couldn't act before, Victor was more than willing to help as his kind was not subject to such a rule.
"Hey, Vic." Thomas replied with a wave. "What's good?"
"This morning, for starters." Victor joked. Kaisa laughed gently from his quick-witted quip before she joined in, showing her wedding ring along with his.
"It's really no secret why." Kaisa added, smiling brilliantly. Victor always loved her for that, among many other, more important things (her Double-E bust being among them). Johanna had to admit, she was jealous of Kaisa's bust; it was just a notch above her own Double-D size. But all the same, she was happy for the two of them, especially since they'd been married for a few months now, a dream she hoped to have with Patrick soon.
"But really. Good morning to you both." Johanna smiled warmly.
"Likewise, Johanna." Kaisa responded with courtesy. "So, what brings you two here today?"
"Oh, you know, the usual." Thomas answered. "Johanna and I were thinking of doing some more research on a ghost sighting." Victor shuddered when Thomas mentioned it.
"Ghosts..." Victor said with disgust. "Can't say they're my favorite."
"Don't you two remember the last time you went Ghost hunting?" Kaisa asked wearily, and it was for good reason. "You ended up facing a vampire of all things!" Vampires were known to be fierce creatures of the night. And if given the chance, they will kill their prey. Or so the ancient texts said. But Thomas didn't see any need for their concern.
"Okay, first off," Thomas began. "It's really no sweat for me. I exorcized a hundred of those things in a week. And secondly, Wilhamena did us a favor by killing that bloodthirsty vampire before we found out about her. She's okay in our book."
