"So, Lando says he wants to move in together," Annika stated calmly as she stabbed a slice of pineapple with her fork.

Matt hummed indifferently. He was immersed in his laptop, as usual, the glow of the screen reflecting back on his glasses. And Annika was sitting across from him, needing advice.

"Do you think that's a bad idea?" she pressed.

"Not really my business," Matt said absentmindedly.

"But I'm making it your business." Annika munched on a piece of pineapple and spoke around it, "like, what would you do?"

"I don't know. I've never lived with my partner."

"Wait, aren't you married?"

"No."

Annika waited for him to elaborate, but of course he didn't. She sighed faintly. "You don't live together because you travel, right?"

"Correct."

"So, do you think it would still be an issue for us because we both travel?"

"I have no idea what your relationship is like, Niki."

Annika loved her manager dearly, but sometimes talking to Matt was like talking to a big cement wall. She pushed his laptop closed, squishing down on his fingers. He looked up at her without amusement.

"I'm in the middle of something," he stated.

"I need advice right now."

"Isn't this something you should talk to your girl friends about?"

"I don't have any girls. I need you to be my girl."

Matt rolled his eyes deeply and extracted his fingers out from the closed lid of his computer. "Fine. You have," he checked his watch, "three minutes of girl time."

"Thank you." Annika made a praying gesture with her hands. "Here's the situation, we've barely been together for six months. He lives in a bigger flat than me, but I have a dog, and he has a lot of breakables."

"That seems like an entirely redundant problem. Put the breakables on a top shelf. Easily fixed. Next."

"I'm also worried that we're moving too fast."

"From what I've seen, yes, you and him have moved very fast. But it seems to work for you both, so I don't observe it as a problem."
