IT was a bright sunny day . she was getting ready to go to her studio . that's when her mom called her "Maitri come have your breakfast beta "
"ji maa" she went to have her breakfast;
AT THE DINING TABLE:
All 4 of them were having breakfast when her mother looked at her father and whispered
"eji aap boliye na " [ please you say it ]
"koshish karta hu " [i'll try]
"Maitri how is your work going beta " . "great papa ,things are going good and maybe finally this time I would be able to get my dream award"
"That's great" her father said and looked at her mother and nodded and then again came to maitri " beta when everything is going good you are getting what you always wanted for what you always fought . then why not you leap into next step of your life "
"what step papa" , " I meant now its the correct time for you to get married you are almost 30 "
" papa ! how many times do I have to make it clear to you guys that I don't want anyone ,I am happy the way I am "
"beta this is not how things go ." said her mother."you are already doing what you wanted against everyone's will but now you have to get marr-
brfore her mom could complete she stood and went out of the door ; her parents sigh
"bahut ziddi h ye " [ she is so stubborn]
"mitali mujhe lagta h hame bhagwan aur kismat par sab chod dena chahiye " [ mitali I think we should leave everything on god and destiny]

AT STUDIO :
Maitri was engrossed in her work when her phone rang , it was pranay
" hey buddy whats up" said pranay
"Nothing as such " . "what happened motu is everything alright you sound slow "
" IDK my work is at its peak right now and I am trying my best for the upcoming award shows I am already very tired and frustrated and on top of that my parents always talk about marriage"
"so today also morning discussion was your marriage"
"yes!"she sighs
"Don't worry chubs , just focus on your work and yourself I always say that leave that discussion in your house and when you are at studio focus on your work "
"hmm"
"BTW I have something to tell you"
"yes say it"

It was almost 8 in the night , she was wrapping up her work ; closing the studio and her comfort she headed for home ;
On her way she saw crowd of people at a place she came out of her car and went there only to see that there was a lady who was collapsed . she was almost her mother's age
" please somebody call the ambulance " , when nobody cared she sighed and took her to her car [ her phone was dead ] she drove to the hospital anxious althroughout
they reached the hospital and the lady got admitted
a nurse came " mam please sign these papers so that we can continue the treatment"
"but I am not her family how am I supposed to complete the formalities?"
" then please call somebody from her family "
she nodded and took that lady's phone and dialled the first contact It was her son a it was saved as 'BETA'
ON CALL:
"Hello aai kaye jhala " [ hello mom what happened]
" please come fast to the city hospital MR ....Whoever you are"
"what happened and who is this speaking"
"That dosent matters come fast your mom is admitted here and further treatments need formalities"
"what! how ? what happened to her"
"Stop questioning and come here already"
THE SON'S POV
MY heart beat increased I rushed to the city hospital entering there I asked receptionist about my mom , I went near her ward only to see a girl is standing outside
maybe she is the one who called me I went to her
" hey are you the one who called me for my mom "
"yes be fast and complete the formalities "
It has been 4 hours since my mom have been admitted , she the girl is still here I can see her family members are calling her to ensure that she is safe and she is explaining the reason for her to be late
That's when doctor came out;I stood and went to him
" what happened doctor is everything alright "
"yes she is out of danger "
" Thank you doctor"
"you should be thanking her Mr gokhle " I looked at the girl who was standing there and was listening to our talk
" Thank you ms......name?"
" Maitri its Maitri and your welcome "
" you guys can meet her after we shift her to the general ward" doctor said and left
" your name ? " she asked
I extended my hand for a handshake and said " Neelaksh " ...............................
