Of Course, I woke up to my college roommate and bestest friend since the third grade, night, because I just had to sleep through my alarm. I roll over in bed as I hear my bedroom door slam open and hit the wall, most likely leaving ANOTHER mark on the wall. "mmmm... five more minutes." I mumbled in a tired groan against my pillow. "Girl! I gave you thirty! You slept through your alarm, and I knew you were tired, so I let you sleep in, but you have to get your ass up!" When I finally processed everything, she said, I jolted up and looked at her with shock and irritation while saying, "I slept through my alarm.. AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME!?" She rolled her eyes at me with an unbothered facial expression then walked out of my room leaving the door open. Once I was finally dressed and ready, I quickly snatched Night's famous french toast with syrup soaked inside and ran out the door with my book bag. I knew once I made it, I was going to get a lot of looks for being late on the first day to college. As I make it inside the building, I start to run, knowing that I was almost 20 minutes late on my first day to my first class. Without realizing it, I had bumped into someone, and I dropped my bookbag, making everything fall out from forgetting to zip it closed. I groan in irritation when I see all of my things are everywhere and I'm only gonna be later. As I look up to see a guy with medium short wavy hair. He runs his fingers through his fluffy bangs as he looks down at me and I get a long glance at his emerald eyes with rectangle shaped glasses. I quickly get a view of his features and see he has a buffish shaped body with tan skin.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't really see you there. You were running up to me so fast." he chuckles a bit. "I'm Clark by the way. You are..?" I look at him clueless for a moment until I finally pull my head out of my ass and summon his words into my brain. "Oh uhh.. Len." I smile nervously as I shake his hand then kneel down and gather my things and watch him help me. Once my things were gathered, I looked down to check the time and realized that I'm SUPER late! "Shit!" I mumble to myself. "I'm so sorry Clark! It was lovely meeting you but I'm in a hurry and I must go!" Before waiting for an answer, I rushed past him and headed to my first class. After about 10 minutes of walking into the wrong classes 3 times... I finally make it to my correct class and walk in a little bit breathless. I look around to see everyone looking up from their computers and notes and staring at me in confusion and curiosity. I then noticed a group of guys staring at me with grins and excitement which then made me a bit uncomfortable until I made eye contact with one of them. But... he was a bit different than the others. He looked at me with... Love in his blue eyes. They had such a crystal glow. A beautiful mix of ocean blue as well. He even looked a bit flustered. As we kept eye contact, I started to notice that everything else started to fade away into an un-existing void. It was just me and him. His gaze was just so mesmerizing that I couldn't look away until I felt the tension of someone glaring at me and looked over to see the professor. "You must be Baylen... correct? If so, you're over 30 minutes late. Just take a seat wherever. " She growls in irritation.

I gulped from the awkward and uncomfortable tautness then started walking up the steps between the seats and towards the unknown yet intriguing man and noticed that the man named Clark just happened to be sitting next to him so thankfully I had an excuse to sit near the mystery man. Once I noticed Clark, I saw him wave at me with a hello then signal to come sit next to him. I waved back with a kind; gentle smile and I happened to notice the mystery man staring at me with awe. We locked eyes for one more moment and I slightly smiled at him and realized he was getting very flustered by my friendly gesture. When I was almost there and getting ready to sit down, I heard a familiar and annoying voice call my name and looked over to see a "friendly" face. It was one of my old middle school friends named Jesse. He waved for me to sit next to him as his nerdy smile grew big and his dorky long blonde hair fell over his dark blue eyes. I glanced back at Clark and the mystery man, thinking if I should continue to sit next to them or sit by Jesse. I knew that I couldn't ignore an old friend, so I slightly frowned at Clark as an apology and he shrugged, letting me know it was okay. I turned towards Jesse and walked over to him and sat down. I couldn't help but smile as I saw such a friendly, kind face looking at me. After I side hug him and say hello after not seeing him for so long, I pull out my notebooks and computer and start working.

Once I was almost finished with my work, I felt Jesse nudging against my arm with his elbow, trying to catch my attention. "Psst... Len. Hey Len!" He whispers loudly in my ear. I look over at him with annoyance and raise my eyebrow. He smiled nervously while pointing over to where Clark and the mystery man were sitting, and I turned to see that Clark was trying to get my attention and the mystery guy was staring right at me. Once I made eye contact with the mystery guy, he blushed and looked away while trying to hide his face and I couldn't help but giggle. I then looked at Clark as he held up a big notebook with his number written on it. I was confused at first then got the hint and quickly pulled my phone out and added him to my contacts as "jock face".
