POV London

I finally finished up with my classes and I was just about to make it off campus and to my car, when I noticed someone in the corner of my eye. I stopped and slowly walked over to make sure it was who I thought and hoped it was. It was really her. The second I knew it was her; I ran right up to her and tapped her shoulder. Once she turned around and I gotta see her gorgeous face, my heart just melted. Her presence was so heartwarming and precious. I smiled so big that my cheeks started to hurt but I didn't care and just kept smiling. "Oh hello, love. It's nice to see you again." I only smiled bigger as she did as well. Her voice was so beautiful and calming. It wasn't too loud nor too quiet, but just perfect and very comforting to listen to. "Yeah, you too. I was just walking by, was about to head home and I just happened to see you. Are you heading to another class or..?" I just wanted to make up so many reasons for her to continue talking and so I did. "Oh uh, no. I'm heading back to my dorm actually." When she said dorm, I had realized that she was younger than me, at least by school years if not actual ages, but I had to at least make sure before assuming. "Dorm? Are you perhaps a freshman?" She nodded her head yes and I couldn't help but smirk for some reason. "Well, I'm a sophomore so it's rare for someone in my year and higher to live in dorms so I have my own place. Want me to walk you to your dorm? I've got plenty of time so don't worry." I could tell she was hesitant with her response and wanted to say no but eventually, she gave in with defeat and said yes which, indeed, made me happy.

As we started walking, I could tell she was in an uncomfortable position with her back, so I insisted on carrying her backpack for her while we walked and thankfully, she let me. While walking, we started to talk and laugh and got to know a couple things about each other. She had such a personality and didn't try making herself sound like everyone else. She was her own person, and she seemed proud of it. While walking, I slowly got closer and closer. And eventually held her hand. She didn't flinch or pull away, she just let me, which made me happy. We finally made it to her dorm and as she started to walk in, my grip on her hand tightened so I could pull her back without even realizing. Once I had held her back, she stepped up to me and ended up getting very close. I stared deep into her eyes and was trying to decide if it would be right to kiss her. Her breath brushed against my lips and made my heart pound in my chest. My blood was pumping, and I was slowly getting more excited and my confidence got much stronger every second. I felt it was time and my urge to lean into her had won. I slowly inched closer to her and before I was less than seconds away, I had noticed she was getting very anxious and a bit overwhelmed by my actions which made me kind of sad, but I knew I couldn't pull away or it would be awkward, so I just kissed her cheek, which was very soft. After pressing my lips against her face, I let her hand go then whispered softly as the edge of my lips were still against her skin.

"I'll see you soon." I mumbled right before pulling away and smiling softly at her. I saw her face was very red and I tried not to laugh at how cute she was. She was so flustered that I knew she probably wouldn't be able to say a full sentence without stuttering every second, so I just left with a smile on my face. Slowly, I made my way out of the campus and to my car with the biggest smile. As I unlock my car door, I hear the same annoying voice that ruined one of the best moments I had today with one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen. "Lon Bear!!" I turned to see Silvia walking up to me with pride. "Hey Silvia." She tried to hug me, but I stepped back so far that I was up against my car. "Please don't. I told you that I don't feel like being a touchy person today." She frowned then crossed her arms and narrowed her eyebrows at me in anger. "That's not what it looked like with that girl." At that point, I was on my last nerve and was too annoyed to be bothered by her. "That's none of your business and you had no right to call me your boyfriend when you know i don't even like you that way. We're just friends." Slowly she dropped her arms and looked at me with sorrow. "One day, London. You'll see me and realize that you could have been with me instead of some city rat girl." I knew she was talking about Len and that's when she took things too far. I had no energy to even talk to her so I just got in my car and closed the door in her face so I wouldn't have to listen to her anymore.
