Shubman stepped out of his room, making his way to the deck.

His gaze flickered towards the sky, as the stars, spread across the sky, glittering like diamonds.

A soft smile spread across his lips.

The sereneness the sky and the stars had to offer, no city lights did.

He felt happy to be away from the city, from the paparazzi, and the rumour mill.

Finally somewhere where he could be Shub instead of Shubman Gill, The Prince of ICT, where he didn't have to lift the weight of expectations the world had from him.

As he looked back down to grab a chair for himself, his gaze flickered down and found a familiar figure seated there already, and he blinked, realising he wasn't alone.

Finding the seat next to her empty, he was tempted to ask her if he could sit next to her, but he didn't want to break the tranquil hush either.

She seemed to have sensed his presence, for she looked up at him, and scooted to the side, patting the empty space next to her.

What seemed like a hint of a smile spread across his lips and he sat down next to her.

Neither broke the serene silence for quite a while, it was oddly soothing.

Finally breaking the silence after a while, she looked at him, her pretty brown eyes boring into his.

" Do you miss home?"

" No. I feel like I'm home. I was missing the peace that I'm getting here."

Smiling softly, she nodded her head.
" I understand."

" What about you? Do you miss home?"

" I'm home when I'm with the people I love."

He smiled, agreeing with her.

" Shubman...are you okay?" She asked him suddenly and he slightly frowned.

" I...am. Why do you ask?"

" I mean...you don't seem okay. I don't....mean to invade your space...but is it the rumours? Is that what's bothering you?"

Shubman sighed.
" I'm tired of the media fabricating things, twisting it in their own dirty manner and publishing utter nuisance. I know I'm a cricketer-a public figure, and I know I signed up for this life, but not to the extent that my personal life gets digged so much that they invade my privacy and space too, I need that. I'm not okay with them creating stuff to keep me in limelight, i'm not asking for that. I'm a very private person, aur mujhe lagta hai private life private hi rehni chahiye."

Sara nodded, understanding his situation and sharing the pain.

" It's frustrating." She murmured in her soft voice, and he looked at her as she continued to talk.

Her face glowed under the moon as it shone softly and Shubman couldn't help but wonder,

Tonight, was the moon prettier, or was she?
