Glancing at the clock, panic flickered in her chest. *I’m going to be late!* She quickly shook off her drowsiness and hurried to the bathroom, splashing cold water on her face to wake herself up. After brushing her teeth and pulling her hair into a messy bun, she dressed in her usual college outfit—a simple but comfortable sweater and jeans.
As she grabbed her bag, her heart raced with anxiety about the day ahead. She double-checked her essentials: notebooks, pens, and her phone. With a final glance in the mirror, she forced a smile at her reflection, trying to muster some confidence.
Y/N stepped out into the crisp morning air, the world outside bustling with students heading to class. She met up with her friend, Mia, who greeted her with a bright smile. "Hey, beautiful! Ready for today?"
"Trying to be," Y/N replied, her voice tinged with uncertainty.
As they walked together, two girls from their class approached, smirking as they whispered to each other. One of them sneered, "Look at her. Does she really think she’s pretty?"
The other laughed mockingly, “More like the ugliest girl in college.”
Y/N felt her heart drop, and her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. And so she headed to in the washroom as she wanted to cry her heart out. But suddenly she bumped into a hardwall or someone. As she bumped, he was about to say something but she instantly apologized and went her way.
