She was like this gorgeous flower — full of color, life, and everything good that you’d want to hold on to forever. And Me? I was September, just passing through, thinking I’d get to stay a bit longer in her world. At first, it was all bright and warm. We’d talk for hours, like we had all the time in the world. I thought I was part of her story, you know? Like maybe, I’d be the one who’d get to see her bloom every day.
But then, autumn came. It didn’t happen all at once; it just sort of slipped in. One day, things were fine — her smile still lit up everything. Then the days got shorter, and so did our conversations. She started pulling away, bit by bit, like petals falling, until one day, there was nothing left. Just me, standing there, feeling a chill I hadn’t noticed before.
It’s funny, really. I thought being September meant I could keep things steady. But when autumn came, it took her with it, just like it takes the leaves off trees. And now I’m just here, wondering how something that felt so alive faded so fast.
I guess that’s how it goes, right!! . Some people are like flowers. They bloom when the season’s right, and when it’s over, they’re gone — leaving you wishing you could’ve held on just a little longer.
*Some things in life are beautiful but temporary, and no matter how much you want to hold on, you can’t stop the seasons from Changing.
"Some people, like flowers, bloom for a season — they bring light and color, then leave, teaching you that beauty is often fleeting and letting go is part of the story."
