The morning sun streamed through the tall windows of the Blooming Estate's library, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Sophia sat at a large, mahogany table piled high with ancient tomes and scrolls, her heart racing with the thrill of discovery. The wedding was behind them, but the joy of their union was overshadowed by the growing sense of urgency. They had a mystery to solve.

"Are you sure about this?" Leo asked, leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed as he watched her with a mix of admiration and concern. "We could take a day to relax, enjoy being newlyweds."

Sophia looked up from the scroll she had been studying. "And let the darkness regroup? I can't do that, Leo. Not when I know something sinister is brewing out there."

He sighed, pushing off the frame and walking toward her. "You're right, of course. But I worry about you diving too deep into this without a break. You've just married me. You deserve some time to enjoy it."

A warm smile crept onto Sophia's lips. "I will enjoy it, I promise. But I need to understand what we're up against. If there's a threat to the estate, to us, I won't sit idly by."

"Okay," he relented, brushing a hand through his hair. "Let's find out what we can. Together."

Together. The word resonated in her heart as they began to sift through the piles of books and scrolls. The library felt alive with whispers of the past, secrets waiting to be unearthed. They had dedicated themselves to understanding the Estate's legacy, and it felt more important than ever in the face of looming darkness.

Hours passed as they immersed themselves in research, flipping through pages filled with arcane symbols and faded illustrations. The knowledge contained within these books was vast, but it was also fragmented, riddled with gaps that left them yearning for more.

"Look at this," Leo said suddenly, his finger hovering over a particularly weathered scroll. "This mentions an artifact—a key to the Garden's magic. It could be what we need to protect the estate."

Sophia leaned closer, her excitement palpable. "What does it say?"

Leo read aloud, his voice low and steady. "The artifact is said to be hidden within the depths of the estate, concealed in a place that only those of true intent can access. The shadows of the past guard it fiercely, and only those who dare to confront their fears will find it."

Sophia felt a shiver run down her spine. "Guarded by shadows... It sounds like it won't be easy to retrieve."

"Nothing worthwhile ever is," Leo replied, determination flickering in his eyes. "But we have each other, and we can face whatever lies ahead."

"Together," she echoed, her heart swelling with affection and gratitude.

They spent the rest of the day combing through the library, piecing together clues about the artifact's location. As the sun dipped low in the sky, casting long shadows across the room, Sophia uncovered an old map tucked away in a dusty volume. Her fingers trembled as she traced a route leading to the underground chambers beneath the estate.

"Leo, look at this," she said, excitement bubbling in her voice. "It shows a passage that leads down to the chambers. This could be where the artifact is hidden!"

Leo leaned over her shoulder, studying the map with keen interest. "Then that's our next destination. But we need to be cautious. If the Society is stirring, they might not be the only ones looking for it."

Sophia's heart raced at the thought. The Society had been a powerful force, and their intentions were often shrouded in darkness. "We need to prepare ourselves, then. We have to find the artifact before they do."
