This is a chapter to basically a fill in to explain his backstory, his mother's name is Luna Xan, Luna Lovegood's aunt from her mom's side, she had abilites just like Onyx, she ended up overworking herself and died when Onyx was young, Onyx was sheltered by Severus, kinda like Rapunzel, but he just couldn't leave past the woods, he never got to grow and never saw the outside world, that's why he's so blunt and closed off, and before you dislike Severus for this you can't really blame him, he already lost his wife, he didn't want to lose what he had left of her, and a bit on Tufts, he's a long-eared owl, Onyx found him when he was only an egg, his mother was killed by another owl, he likes fish and mice
