It's 2:43 am and I have school tomorrow. I can't sleep. I keep getting nightmares and I'm so done.
I stand up and open my drawer and grab my pack of cigarettes and a lighter. I walk out to my balcony and light one of my cigarettes, I sit on the chair as I look out to the beautiful view of Italy.
I can't stop thinking about him.. my brother. We weren't blood related but he'll always be my brother. I hate them. He was just a kid. Why him. Why not me.
I look to the lighter beside me. I haven't done it in so long... no, I can't. I promised cami.
I stand up and put out my cigarette, it's 5:34am. Already? It felt like just a few seconds.
I go into the bathroom to have a shower, I use my signature strawberry body wash then walk out and start doing my makeup. I use concealer on all my scars and burns. I finish doing my makeup and put my hair up in a pony tail, once I'm done I go to my beautiful closet, which I'm still in awe of, and put on a graphic tee and sweats.

I check the time, 6:27.
Shit.
I told Leonardo I'd be ready by 6:00.
I run down to the kitchen and walk in to see everyone still eating breakfast.
I walk in.
"Morning." I hear a bunch of sleepy mornings then walk towards the fridge and get some orange juice.
"Sweetie, do you want some pancakes?" Brianna asks.
"I'm good. Thanks though."
"It's okay."
Once everyone finishes we walk out to the garage after bidding Leonardo and Brianna goodbye.
My brothers manage to get me to agree to them driving me to school. I get into the car with allesio, luca, Marco and Matteo.
"What grades are you guys in?" I didn't actually get that.
"Marco and matteo are seniors, Luca is a sophomore and I'm a sophomore as well." Alessio says.
"Wait. Did Luca fail sophomore year and wait did Marco and Matteo also fail senior year?" I was in shock. Were they this dumb.
"Yeah. Stupid brothers"
"Respect your elders, les!" That was Luca, obviously.
I almost cracked a smile, ALMOST.
As we get closer to our school I apply some lip gloss and tighten my pony tail and leave out a few strands of hair.
Once we arrive I exit the car and girls look at my with hatred and jealousy while boys look at me with lust.
Allesio's pov:
I swear to god if these boys keep looking at my baby sister like that I'm gonna start throwing hands.
As we walk through the hall my baby sister fills the air with a controlling demeanor-
"If you don't stop staring at me I'm going to knock your ass out!" My piccola farfalla suddenly yells and if I wasn't her big brother and in the mafia, I would be shaking in my boots right now.
Everyone looked away and they look absolutely petrified.
"farfalla, do you want me to take you to the reception to get your schedule or do you want to go alo-" I'm cut off by a girl running towards my baby sister and hugging her.
"RORY, I missed you!"
"I missed you to cami" she looked like she was finally happy. She wasn't happy with us, she was happy with a random girl.
"Who is this?" My brother Luca asks.
"This is my sister. Camilla, and to answer your question allesio, I can go get my schedule with cami."
Oh.
She didn't want me, she wanted her.
"Yeah it's cool, see you at lunch?"
"Yeah, Leonardo told me to sit with you guys"
Auroras pov:
I feel bad. Just a tiny bit, alessio looked hurt so did Matteo, Luca didn't care, as usual and Marco was just quiet, no surprise there.
Me and cami make our way to the receptionist.
"Excuse me?" She looks up at us and it's a dirty look and rolls her eyes, ignoring us.
"We're here to collect our schedules."
"Yeah yeah, name?"
"Camila Ambrose and aurora rossi."
She immediately pales and her eyes go wide as she rushes to find our schedules, with shaky hands she gives us it and bows.
I scoff and take Camis hand then walk out to our first class, math.
