The masked man who attacked Jungwon was Soobin, the host of the party. After his attack, several boys disarmed and tied up the boy so that he would not attack anyone again. While waiting for the police, Jungeun and Saebi checked Jungwon twice and, finding no scratches on him, breathed a sigh of relief. Choi Jungwon was able to react in time and dodge the knife attack.

The police arrived almost immediately after being called. After Soobin was arrested, several teenagers were brought in for questioning, including Jungwon.

Jungeun and Saebi followed their brother, and Koko followed them.

Jungeun  was released only after twenty minutes of waiting. As it turned out, Soobin's basketball team had lost to Jungwon's team, and as the captain of his team, he was deeply affected by it. The two schools, the two teams were fiercely competing against each other, and upon seeing Jungwon, Soobin's mind was filled with a vile jealousy. He was a fan of horror movies, so upon hearing about Kangwoo's gruesome murder, Soobin tried to imitate the killer. Wearing a black cloak and a white mask, he picked up one of the sharpest knives in the kitchen and attacked Jungwon. It also turned out that the guy was very drunk, so Jungwon easily dodged the guy's weak attack.

Returning home, the parents of the trio did not scold the teenagers, deciding that they had enough for today, they silently went to bed. But sleep did not come to Jeon. Turning over in bed, the girl sat up. Looking at the clock, which showed two o'clock in the morning, she sighed tiredly. Today was a very difficult day. Everything fell on Jungeun at once. Jiyoon's kiss, the attack on Jeongwon, the thoughts did not leave her head. Taking the phone in her hands, the girl went to social networks to somehow distract herself and make herself sleepy. Lazily scrolling through the feed on Instagram, the screen suddenly switched to a call. An unfamiliar number was calling her. Frowning, she did not dare to answer the call. The call ended. Putting the phone aside, the girl was about to go to bed, when the ringtone rang again.

"Who was so persistent that he called her at two o'clock in the morning?"
