ARYAN'S POV
After she told everyone that she is ready for this marriage, it didn't settle well with me. How can she marry the person she hates the most, despises the most?
The question isn't what was the reason for her to marry me; I know. But the question is, how she agreed so easily? There must be a reason for this, or else I'm sure she wouldn't say yes. And I need to know.
"What are you thinking about?" Raj asked, sensing my curiosity.
"Nothing," I lied.
Raj's eyes narrowed. "Aryan, don't lie to me."
I sighed. "Vanshika's decision."
Raj's expression turned curious. "To marry you?"
I nodded. "How could she agree so easily?" I wondered.
Raj chuckled. "Maybe she loves you."
Love? Could it be? Vanshika and I had always clashed. But beneath our banter, was there something more?
I recalled her smiles. Her laughter. Her fiery spirit. My heart skipped a beat. Could Raj be right? Was Vanshika marrying me out of love?
I needed to know.
"I think you're being delusional," I said, because I had seen her hatred toward me. No, it's not love.
"Okay, boss, as you say, I'm leaving," Raj said and left my cabin.
I walked towards the big window, looking at the view. It was 5 pm, and the sun was setting, so the view was mesmerizing.
A phone call disturbed my calm aura. I took out my phone and looked at the person who called me. It was Mansi, Vanshika's friend.
"Hello?" I asked her as soon as I picked up the call.
"Aryan, are you marrying Vanshika?" she asked.
"Yes," I replied.
"But you both hate-" she was saying, but I cut her off.
"Yes, we do, also right now, but this is for our companies," I said.
"Okay," she murmured.
"So, are you done?" I asked.
"Hmm, bye, but remember not to break her heart, or else I might end you," she warned and ended the call.
I walked to my chair and sat down, focusing on the work on my hand.

The days passed as a blur, and the day of the Roka ceremony came.

AUTHOR'S POV
The sun shone brightly on the morning of the Roka ceremony, casting a warm glow over Vanshika's residence. The air was alive with excitement and anticipation as the families prepared for the special day.
Aryan, dressed in a cream-colored kurta-pyjama, fidgeted with his cufflinks. His mother, Rupa, adjusted his embroidery.
"You look handsome, beta," she smiled.
Aryan nodded, his mind on Vanshika.
"Time to go," his father, Sanjeev, called out.
The family arrived at Vanshika's residence, bearing gifts and smiles. Vanshika's mother, Priya, welcomed them warmly.
"Namaste, Rupa ji. Please come in."
The living room was adorned with flowers and greenery. Vanshika, in a pastel pink saree, stood poised beside her parents.
