The car slows as we pull into the lot, and I spot Nikhil standing by the entrance, his signature smirk on full display.
As I step out, he raises an eyebrow, noticing my dad's impressive physique. "Whoa, your dad! Did I just step into a family reunion without getting prior notice?"
I chuckle, nudging him. "Careful, or he might adopt you. He's always looking for someone to join his cricket team."
Nikhil laughs, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Great! I can finally tell my mom I'm dating a real-life superhero. He looks like he could lift a car! No wonder you've got those muscles too, Raksh. You've clearly taken after him."
Dad, with his broad shoulders and muscular build, chuckles at our banter. "You two need to stop the dramatics. Maybe you should find a nice hobby, Nikhil, like knitting."
Nikhil's eyes widen in mock horror. "Knitting? What's next, baking? I'm more of a 'plotting world domination over chai and samosas' kind of fellow!"
I roll my eyes, stepping fully out of the car. "At least we can agree on the chai and samosas. Those are priorities, right?"
