Chapter 40: Friends in needs

When Synoh heard about lux feeling guilty after failing to save the villagers. Synoh then immediately go to lux division to find him but then he got interrupted by his captain.

Captain Elara: Synoh, where do you thinks you are going?
Synoh: I wanted to talk with Lux.
Captain Elara: You can't.
Synoh: Why?
Captain Elara: I know what you gonna do, but he must overcome it. If he doesn't, that means he not really suitable to become a knight. So go to your position.
Synoh: Understood Captain.

Meanwhile Lux spirit slowly decreasing, the husband still blaming lux and his team. This because Lux and his team didn't go to see him, and apologies. Lux telling his team that if they wanna go apologise to him,they must bring his daughter back. A day after day, no signs of the bandit this make lux very down. Suddenly, someone tap in his back.
Synoh: Lux, you gotta keep yourself up. You need to remember, you already did your best to save her.
Lux: Synoh...thanks but it okay, I don't need your concerns. By the way, why are you here?
Synoh: You say like that but still your face tell differently. And to answer your questions. We find them.
Lux:Who?
Synoh: The bandit hideout, and tomorrow night we gotta attack.
Lux:....
