Hailey's POV
I was running, why did he ask me out in 9th grade, he never loved me, but I loved him. I run to the balcony to catch my breath. I hear him running down the hall. "Hailey please come here!", he shouts. I leaned against the wall to hide from him. Luckily he didn't see me. Then my phone started to ring, I hung it up. Footsteps approach me it was Shawn. "Go away before I repeat history, this time I'll give you 5 seconds to-", I start to say but his lips smashed into mine. What was I doing? I can't fall back in love with him. I pull away really fast.
Shawn's POV
"Hailey why did you pull back", I ask confuse. " I made a promise that I wouldn't allow myself to fall in love with a prick like you!", she snaps. "Hailey-","No, Shawn don't you Hailey me! I'm sick of this! You say you're the one needing stitches, no you don't! I'm the one who got bullied when my boyfriend never stood up for me! I'm the one who got cheated on because you liked my bully and you're probably dating her! Move on Shawn you're not going to get a million chances with me like you would with another girl!", she screams punching my face and kicking my leg. "Poor thing need stitches?", She snaps.
Hailey's POV
I walk away. I was so done I packed my bags and drove to the airport. All I could think about was Shawn, how could I hit him like that? Why wouldn't he leave me alone? I get a call from him. I decide to answer it. "Really? Hailey why", he chokes. "I told you! We used to be enemies, and now we're friends?", I say. "Hailey I want to be with you I'll stick up for you, I'll do any-","Shawn you're just desperate", I say rolling my eyes.
