part 5

Vivaan sees that Monika is with his new friends, Rohan, Ishan, and Aarav. Thinking about Aarav, vivaan remembers this morning's incident, when a kiss happened between the two, which made her entire body feel hot with desire.

Just then, Ishan also spots Vivaan and shouts, "Vivaan, you're here!" and walks over to him.

Vivaan turns his attention to Ishan and, smiling, says, "I'm so happy to see you here."

"Me too, buddy!" says Ishan as he places his hand on Vivaan's shoulder.

Aarav, who was also there, witnessed everything, and he didn't like at all how close Ishan was getting to Vivaan.

Both of them then walk over to their other friends, and Monika asks, "Do you know him?"

"Yes, he's my friend," Ishan replies.

Aarav, in his mind, wonders, How did he become such a close friend in just one day?

Vivaan smiles and says, "Monika, this is for you," and hands over what he brought for her.

Monika's female friend was making a face while receiving the gift because Vivaan had come to the party so casually dressed, and the gift seemed quite small to her.

But Monika says, "Thanks, Vivaan. Come on, enjoy yourself now, especially since your friend is also here."

Vivaan nods in agreement.

Monika goes to talk to the others, and now only Ishan, Vivaan, Rohan, and Aarav are left there.

Rohan asks, "Vivaan, how do you know Monika?"

"No, I don't know her. My mom's best friend is Monika's mom," Vivaan replies.

"Oh, so your families know each other?"

"Yeah."

"Enough, you guys. What are you even here to talk about?" Aarav says, feeling irritated as he watches Vivaan.

Vivan gets a little nervous seeing this, and Rohan says to Aarav, "You don’t say anything, so we just talk, and even that bothers you?"

Aarav doesn't say anything and just makes a face.

Rohan was about to say something, but just then, something was announced on the stage:

"Hello everyone, as you know, today is my daughter’s birthday, and I’m very happy that you all are here. And to celebrate this happiness, we will now start dancing. But, but, the dance won’t happen just like that. Everyone will dance as couples, so choose your partners!"

Hearing this, everyone started looking around, and Manika quickly went to Aarav and said, "Aarav, will you dance with me?"

Aarav didn't really want to, but since it was Manika's birthday, he didn't want to hurt her feelings, so he agreed.

Similarly, everyone chose their partners, but Vivan didn’t find anyone because he didn’t know many people, and the girls he did know had already chosen their partners.

Ishan wanted to stay, but Vivan forced him to dance. The dance started, and everyone was dancing, while those who weren’t were just watching, especially Monica and Aarav.

Monica looked very beautiful, and Aarav was extremely handsome, and together they looked really good.

Vivan was watching too, but he didn’t like it, so he left for the washroom. In the washroom, he washed his face and said to himself, "Vivan, what's happening to you? He's straight." Because he was starting to realize that he was developing a crush on Aarav.

As soon as Vivan washes his face and steps out, he sees someone running towards him.

When Vivan sees who it is, he is a bit shocked and says, "Aarav?"

Aarav doesn’t respond, grabs his hand, and takes him into an empty room.

Vivan was extremely surprised and was about to say something, but before he could, Aarav put his hand over Vivan’s mouth and said, "Stay quiet for a while."

From outside, they could hear Monica shouting, "Aarav, where are you? I need to tell you something." Then, to herself, she says, "Where did he go? I was going to propose to him today, but he ran away," and she leaves with a disappointed look.

Both of them heard everything, and after she left, Vivan stepped on Aarav’s foot.

"Ow, ow, what are you doing?" Aarav yelled in pain.

"What are *you* doing? You covered my mouth and dragged me in here!"

"What else was I supposed to do? She would have asked you, and you might’ve told her about me!"

"So why aren’t you going to her? She wants to tell you something," Vivan asks.

"Were you always this stupid, or did it just happen now?" Aarav replies.

"Haan," Vivan says, confused.

"I mean, don’t you get it? She wanted to propose to me! But I don’t like her, so I ran away."

"Seriously? How do you know she was looking for you to propose?" Vivan asks.

"Look, I know everything. In fact, the whole class knows she likes me. And if I went to her, she would’ve proposed. I didn’t want to ruin her birthday, so I ran. Understand?" Aarav explains.

"Oh," Vivan says.

Just then, they hear voices nearby. Before Aarav can react, Vivan grabs his hand and pulls him out of the room, running to escape unnoticed.

They run fast, not looking at anyone, and the whole time Vivan is holding Aarav’s hand. They finally make it outside and start laughing together.

Aarav says, "You ran so fast, like you just committed a theft," laughing as he said it.

"And you, you were running away from Monica as if you were scared. Should I go tell her you’re here?" Vivan joked, starting to walk back inside, but Aarav quickly grabs his hand and pulls him back towards him.

They both end up staring at each other for a moment.

After a few seconds, Aarav snaps back to reality and moves away, realizing he was standing too close to Vivan.

Vivan, feeling nervous too, tries to change the subject and says, "By the way, you're a really good runner," smiling awkwardly.

Aarav laughs and replies, "You run so fast that if you ever commit a theft, no one would catch you."

Vivan makes a face and says,
"In today's world, helping others is pointless."

Aarav laughs and says, "Well, you’re not that bad. So, will you be my friend?"

Vivan, jokingly, says, "So does that mean you thought I was bad before?"

"No, it’s not like that!" Aarav quickly responds, feeling awkward. Then, blushing, he adds, "Actually, Ishan and Rohan both became good friends with you in just one day. And, well, because of that kiss... I didn’t like you at first." Aarav was blushing a lot as he said this because the kiss had come to his mind.

Vivan also felt a bit shy and then said, "Well, no worries, we’re friends now, right?" He extended his hand.

Aarav took his hand and said, "Yes, we’re friends."And both of them started smiling.
