The feeling of burning alive.______________________
~Lightbulb POV:~I opened my eyes, unable to sleep. After my light gave up on me last night, I couldn't get the panicked screams and yelps out of my head.
Sitting up, I feel more dizziness crash onto me as I sit there in silence. The memory playing on loop behind my glass. I look around at the sleeping bodies of my friends. all deep in their dreams by now.
Maybe a walk will help.
I push myself up, and through the small headache, force myself to start walking. trying to turn myself on once out of view from the others...only to be met with failure.
It didn't take long for my head to start hurting. It kept getting worse and worse the more my legs dragged me across the grass. I Soon stop completely to focus on keeping the headache as small as possible.
I felt my breaths get a bit more shaky as I stood there, now feeling relatively lightheaded. I felt like I was going to faint, and started wobbling, I let out a small whine before getting blinded by a sudden flash of white.
"AH- God what the-!" My eyes felt like they were burning from the light I was suddenly emitting, my glass slowly but surely getting hot to the touch.
I tried to turn my light off, I wanted dim, NOT THE SUN!I finally manage to turn down the brightness, though only by a little. I felt very dizzy, both from the sudden flashbang, and from the earlier headache, my thoughts swirling in my mind as the migraine continued to get worse despite my best efforts. Until one stood out from the rest.
The screams.
The screams blared in my head.
Everything hurt.
Until suddenly the headache spiked, I let out a pained scream before clasping my mouth shut, covering it with my hands to muffle the noise. It felt like I'd been shattered. but, instead of the pain going away almost instantly, it just kept climbing. More thoughts crowded my head, everything felt distant as the burning sensation spread to my entire body. Scalding me, and making the already horrible headache almost unbearable.
I shut my eyes, crying from the pain, before something broke the chaos happening in my mind."p-Ple-eEA...SE-! f-F-A-aA-N"
I opened my eyes in horror. That was...Me...? I sounded distressed, and I could barely make out what I was saying.
The memory played over and over in my mind, the panicked screams that used to accompany it slowly fading into nothingness as I sat there and tried to process what just happened.the headache long forgotten.
I blink a couple times, forcing myself back to reality as I notice that I was sitting on the grass.
'I was...Standing before...Wasn't I?? I don't remember sitting down...' I think to myself, flinching as the memory played again, this time louder. And then,
silence.
Nothing at all. Just the sound of the wind. No horrid words, and no thoughts whatsoever in my mind."Well, I should probably get back to the others now, huh?"
I break the silence, standing up shakily. "At least I'm tired now, that's good!" I say, feeling accomplished as I limp back towards where everyone else was. The pain lingering as I Slowly forget whatever just happened here.
