Birthdays and new rooms

It was just noon at Austria's home when they got home. "Excuse me, what day is it?' Kayla asked Austria. "Why, it is September 4th. Why?" Theresa explained that today was Nikki's birthday and what happened to her when her birthday came around. "Birthday punches? That is terrible. We should do something for her birthday,Austria. Please!" Hungary begged him. He agreed to make decorations, Italy made pasta for her, Kayla made her a card,Theresa tried to make her something out of clay, Germany went to get her some new clothes, and Prussia went to buy her some toys to play with. *With Prussia* "Now what would a girl like to play with?" Prussia saw a slingshot for sale and bought her that. He saw some toys that was more boyish boy like, but he got her those. When he returned They were all ready. Austria, Hungary, Germany, and Prussia wrapped the gifts in colorful wrapping paper.Soon,Nikki showed up and they all surprised her with a hearty happy Birthday. She smiled at them. "Thank you, everyone." Nikki joined the party. Romano and Spain arrived to celebrate. "Hola, amigos! I brought a piñata!" Nikki was happy that Spain brought something for everyone. "We can beat it outside. Last time, you broke a good vase." They went outside and got the piñata ready. "How about the birthday girl give it a swing?" Nikki was blindfolded and spun around. She missed the piñata and hit Germany's vital regions. "Did I hit it?" Romano laughed his ass off. "Well, you hit something." Austria laughed a bit, but kept himself. "Wow, West. I bet you don't need Helium to change your voice now!" Germany punched Prussia's knee. "Alright, That is enough! Try again,but please be careful." Nikki hit the piñata and it cracked a bit. "Okay, it is Kayla's turn,now" Japan sat on the ground (the same way he would in his house). Kayla spun too much and missed the piñata and hit Japan's face. "Oh no! Are you okay?" Nikki was the first to Japan's aid. "I am okay. Just a nosebleed." Nikki gave him a tissue. " Here, pinch your nose with this. It will stop the bleeding." They continued to hit the piñata. Theresa gave it the final hit and the candy fell out. Everyone grabbed candy and Nikki walked over to the adults. "Here,pick the ones you want." They tried to refuse the candy,but she kept offering it to them. America sent her a mini keyboard. Nikki could only play a few notes.Russia sent her some seeds to start a garden. China and Hong Kong came over to give Nikki her gifts in person. "Here, this is picture I made for you. America said you liked horses." Nikki got a photo of a horse. "Thank you." Nikki smiled at China. Hong Kong gave her some fire crackers. "I'll save these for later. Thank you,Hong Kong." Nikki put them in her jacket pocket. The other gifts were given to her and Katherine came up to Nikki and whispered something to her. Italy noticed it and gave him chills. He kept an eye on Katherine. He warned Prussia to also keep an eye on her. Nikki's happy expression changed to a scared child's look. What Katherine was about to do, he wasn't too happy about it. " Happy birthday,Nikki!" Nikki made a wish on her 5th birthday candle. "What did you wish for, Nikki?" Kayla asked. "If she tells, it won't come true." Nikki smiled. "I wished for World Peace." Everyone dropped their spoons in shock. "Well, thats a strong wish." Nikki kept on smiling. She passed cake down to everyone. She saved two pieces for Canada and Russia when they visit tomorrow. Katherine was waiting for Nikki. She wanted to tell,but Mattie was in danger. Prussia watched as she entered the room. Katherine shut the door behind them. Prussia put his ear on the door. "Okay Kat, I'm here. Where is Mattie?" Kat laughed. "I think you forgot when someone gives you something, it automatically becomes mine. Mattie and all the toys that were given to you come to me. Now, here are your birthday punches." This set off Prussia. Kat locked the door. Prussia kicked down the door. "Hey! Nobody is getting punched! Give her back Mattie!!" The others came in. Prussia was extremely upset with Katherine. Kat had shown where she hid Mattie. Luckily, he was still intact. Germany scolded Katherine and sent her to her own room. Austria realized that Nikki's room was no longer safe for her to sleep in. He thought for a moment. "Nikki, I have a room that nobody has used in years. If you want, we can move you to that room." Nikki nodded. The room was locked away for many years. Austria unlocked the door. The bed room wasn't empty. There was paintings. "This was once the Holy roman empire's room." Nikki saw the drawings. "Can I hang these up in his room, then?" Austria was in total shock. "I'll look for some frames to put them in then." Italy entered the room. "The paintings used to hung up in here, Some of them were mine and some were his." Nikki smiled as usual. "I wanted to put them back on the wall. I liked them and I didn't want then to rot in a box." Italy couldn't help, but smile back at her. She was telling the complete truth. She loved the paintings and the room. The hardship of her life had only begun.
