Prologue Part Three: Party and Unexpected Guest

Back at the temple, Palutena was doing some cleaning when Pit came in, looking sad.

Palutena: [Smiles at the sight of her angel] Welcome back, Pit!

Pit: [Sighs sadly] Hi...

Palutena: [Notices the sad expression on Pit's face] What's wrong? Didn't you have fun with Pittoo?

Pit: I never got to hang out with Pittoo... Some kids who were judging him by his looks made him run off... I tried to look for him, but I couldn't find him... I fear that I may never see him again...

Palutena: Oh, Pit... Of course, you'll see Pittoo again! He just needs some alone time right now, but I'm sure he'll feel better by tomorrow! Even if he doesn't, you gave him the invitation, right? What did he say?

Pit: He said... He said that he would be the first one there!

Palutena: See? He wants to come to this party, and I know he won't miss it for the world! Don't worry! He won't stay mad forever! Besides, even if he is still mad, he woon't be mad at you! You didn't do anything to make him mad!

Pit: Yeah... [Smiles] You're right! I'm sure I'll see him tomorrow!

Palutena: [Smiles] I knew I would get through to you! Anyway, since you're here, would you like to help me clean?

Pit: Uhh... [Fake yawns] Actually, Lady Palutena, I'm feeling a bit tired... [Rubs his eyes] I'm gonna go take a nap! Bye! [Runs away before Palutena could ask any questions]

Palutena: [She knew that Pit was lying, but decided to shrug it off and let her angel rest] Hahaha!

A few days had gone by, and Palutena was just about finished getting ready for the party. She was in the main room with Pit waiting for everyone to arrive.

Palutena: This party is gonna be brilliant, don't you agree, Pit?

Pit: [Sadly] Yeah... Great...

Palutena: [Notices Pit's sad expression] What's wrong? If you don't want me to throw this party, you can just say so.

Pit: No, it's not that. I believe that the party's gonna be amazing, but I haven't heard from Pittoo in a few days... 

Palutena: Very strange...

Pit: I bet he's still mad at me...

Palutena: Of course, he isn't mad at you, Pit! You didn't do anything wrong! I know for a fact that he'll be here tonight!

Pit: Well... Okay...[Knocking was heard]

Palutena: And I think that must be him! [She and Pit went to the door and opened it, but instead of seeing the black angel, they saw the Forces of Nature]

Pit: Oh...

Viridi: Are you that disappointed to see us?!

Pit: N-N-No! I just thought you were Pittoo...
