CHAPTER 3: Is This A reunion?

"Phimchanok!" Mom shouts and ran to hug her.

"Vivian. It's been a long time since we met. I miss you so much!" the lady said and hugged my mom back.

"Yeah. I miss u more, Phim" My mom cried on her shoulder.

"So this is Alice? She's so pretty just like you, Vivian" the lady praised me.

Okay this is awkward. I don't know who are they but yeah I'm so happy that she said i'm pretty. Lol.

"Alice, meet Mr. and Mrs. Maurer. They are Timothy's parents" my mom introduce them to me.

"Nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Maurer" I said before hug the lady.

"Call me Uncle Sam, love. This is my wife just call her Aunt Phim" said a very good looking guy. All i can do is just give a smile to them as i don't talk too much with people.

"Sorry Aunt Phim but you're not from here?" I asked curiously.

"I'm from Thailand, sweetheart. Your mother is my best friend since we were kids." She said in a very polite way.

My mom explained to them about the accident and they nodded a few times. They looked so happy and I felt like i was invisible or something but i did not care because i was so sleepy. Wait! I was hungry too. I saw my mom, Mr. and Mrs. Maurer were whispering something that i could not hear it.

"Hope to see you again, Alice" said Aunt Phim while hugged me.

"Me too, aunt Phim" I said and hugged her back.

They walked in the hospital and i asked my mom why they looked so close to each other.

"Mom, you guys looks so close to each other" i asked my mom.

"Oh sweety. We are best friends since we were kids." she answered while smiling to me.

My mom drove us to my favorite cafe, Blackwood Coffee and Chocolate. We sat and my favorite waiter took our order. His name is Naj (because i looked at his name tag). Lol. I paid at the counter after we had our meal. Naj was at the counter. Why? Why so hot? I smiled to him and he smiled back.
