At the Justice of the Peace, everyone was unaware of Quinn and Nadia's accident. Rachel paced back and forth waiting for Quinn to send her message that she and Nadia were on the way to the justice of the peace. Soon enough Finn walked into the room where Rachel and the girls were with the guys following behind him.
Mercedes widened her eyes, "Finn, out. You can't see the bride before the wedding."
Finn waved it off. "I've already seen her.
"But that's bad luck," Tina mentioned.
Rachel turned to her. "No, it's fine."
Sam took his phone from his pocket to check his messages because he quickly noticed that Nadia and Quinn weren't there yet. He assumed that was the reason why Finn was ready to start the wedding because Nadia and Quinn were here. But he never said the words exactly like that so he took this moment to check to see where she was. He saw the text message saying that she was on her way and she had to pick up her dress from her house. He nodded slowly before texting her back, however, he noticed that the message was from five minutes ago, and there wasn't another one after that.
"Rachel, we gotta go right now, or we're gonna lose our slot." Finn reminded her.
Rachel begged Finn. "Could we please just wait a couple more minutes for Quinn and Nadia, please?"
"It's now or never."
Sam spoke up, "Look, Rachel, Nadia texted me five minutes ago and she said they're on their way."
Rachel nodded nervously as she twisted the ring on her finger. She grabbed her phone and texted the girls where are you? She only got the text that Quinn...well, Nadia had sent her saying we are on the way to your dumbass wedding, love Nadia and Quinn. Rachel felt a bit of relief but little did she know that text would turn their world upside down.
Time passed, and Nadia and Quinn still weren't there yet. An hour passed by, Sam took his phone from his pocket again to check his messages, and there was nothing new from Nadia in that last hour. He decided to call her and see where she was and how long she would be until she arrived at the Justice of the Peace. He began to pace as the dial tone rang out, waiting for her to answer the call. Everyone else was waiting around nonchalantly, most likely hoping that the couple known as Finchel would throw in the towel at some point, not only the teens but the parents.
Finally, Sam heard the phone answer, everyone looked over at him. "Hey, Nads. Um, everyone's waiting for you and Quinn to—" The next thing you know Sam dropped his phone on the ground and then rushed out of the room.
Santana frowned in confusion before standing up. "Sam, what's wrong?" She picked up the phone off the ground. "Hello, Nadia?" Her heart raced against her chest as she heard what happened. "Um, okay. We'll be right there." She hung up the phone and everyone looked at her. "Nadia and Quinn were in a car accident."
Rachel felt her heart drop into her stomach. She suddenly felt like it was her fault."Oh, my god. Are they okay?"
Suddenly Santana was bombarded with questions and she did her best to answer them but she needed to go get Sam. "Listen, the accident was bad. The car was T-boned and they are at the hospital now. We have to get there." The Lopez girl turned to Carole and Burt. "Ms. Carole, call Mabel and Mr. And Mrs. Anthony right away and tell them what happened. Then call Quinn's mom. Everyone else go get your shit and let's go."
No one said anything else after that and did what they were told. Santana rushed out of the room to find a hysterical Sam. She went to the room where the guys got ready for the wedding and saw Sam frantically trying to find his car keys. He needed to get to the hospital. He needed to know that she was okay. He needed to know that she was going to be okay.
