Ok so I think I have a kinda schedule going on? What I've been trying to do is upload every weekday and nothing on the weekend. I would post on the weekend but I don't have my own laptop to use (although I need one if I'm going to be a junior and I don't want to use my mom's anymore) and I goo up north every weekend and there's no laptop for me to use, much less internet. So there's that. Thank you guys so much for reading my story! I know almost every writer on here says this but it really means a lot! And please, if I make any grammar mistakes, feel free to point them out! I'm also open to ideas for the plot! I know how I'm picturing this fic and how I want it to end and stuff like that, but if you guys want to see some of your ideas, then post a comment and I'll give credit where it is due! Now, enjoy the chapter!

It's been a week since Mark and I went out together and I'm kinda freaking out. I still have his number; it's sitting on my kitchen counter just mocking me whenever I food. Honestly, I have no clue how to approach the situation. It's not every day that your hero gives you his phone number! What do I text him? Ugh I wish I was good at relationship stuff! And that's another thing! Was he being nice and giving me his number so I had someone to talk to out here or was he being flirty? I'm not the kind of girl that guys look at, much less get their number, but Mark had not only put that down, but also a winky face AND a heart! Oh god I have no clue what to do!

As I went into the kitchen to make lunch, I realized that I didn't have much food left so I grabbed my keys and walked out my apartment to get groceries. But as I started to walk down the hallway, I heard another door close behind me.

"Hey! El!" I heard interrupting my thoughts. And he gave me a nickname? Oh god now I'm even more confused. I turned around.

"Oh hey Mark!" I smiled and stop walking, waiting for him to catch up. "Where are you off to?"

He ruffled his hair. "I'm out of food again" He chuckled. "And I kinda need more."

Wow is this fate or a coincidence? Or a fanfiction? Because I've read a lot of those and this kind of stuff only happens in there. "Oh really? Me too! Wanna go together?" I asked

He smiled a genuine smile. "Yeah! Let's take my car; I assume you don't have one yet."

"Yeah I was just going to take the bus."

"Nonsense! If you ever need a ride just shoot me a text and I'll gladly give you one" He smiled. "Speaking of....." He suddenly got...nervous? The great Markiplier gets nervous? ".....Did you-uh-get what I gave you when we hung out?"

I just decided to play dumb, maybe if he doesn't like me he wont give it to me again? I don't know.... "What are you talking about?" I asked furrowing my eyes together. Hey, I'm going to acting school so this could be practice I guess?

"Oh I-um-I slipped my number in your pocket before I went to my apartment" He blushed. Wow he's actually really cute when he's blushing.

"Oh I guess I didn't get it sorry" I giggled a little bit.

"Well then I'll just as you straight up, can I have your number?"

"Yeah of course" I smiled and handed him my phone.

Mark's P.O.V

As she neared her door I asked, "Hey so do you maybe wanna come over for dinner and a movie?" Oh god I sound so awkward! C'mon, Mark! What are you? 14?

She blushed a light pink and smiled. "Yeah let me put my groceries away and I'll come over"

I was genuinely surprised that she said yes! "O-okay I'll leave the door open for you" and went into my apartment smiling like an idiot.
