Cybertron is almost at war with each other. The deceptions crave power to rule over all, meanwhile the autobots try their best to control this attempt at tyranny. Many would consider this a "Cold War" situation, there has not yet been a battle between the enemies. However there is the secret battle of resources as both sides search for energon all across the planet, for when the war is imminent.

Most bots spend all their day foraging for which ever side that they're one. Although it's almost unthought of for a decepticon to go against their own side, it's not entirely the same case for the autobots. Some autobots do believe that the decepticons have better points than the autobots. Because why shouldn't we all live under one rule together? Or so they say.

The autobots are thought to be the more intelligent of the bots, but they're not fighters like the decepticons. The autobots are the more empathetic, and work better as leaders and organizers. That's not to say that the decepticons don't have their own leaders who can lead just as well as they fight.

Megatron is one of the most fiercest decepticon warriors, and the leader of them. His only flaw is his temper and attitude towards his comrades. When it comes to the lackeys, they listen to his every word. On the other hand, his higher ups have much more of a problem with how he acts towards them.

On the autobots side, they have Sentinel Prime. One of the greatest leaders, who teaches his brother Optimus Prime to be a leader just like him. He truly knows what's best for the autobots and all of cybertron. In addition to this, he's one of the strongest autobots along with his brothers, the other "primes."

Despite the fact that the soon to be war is not quite a war yet, each side will need insider information from the enemy. That's where Y/N comes into play. There's never been an enemy infiltration such as this in as long as a few millennia. It's to difficult for bots to hide their bold imprint, but Y/N is sort of an exception. Nothing a paint job can't cover up, the issue comes when your all spark oozes of autobot and you're built like one to. This is no problem for Y/N though. Their build is androgynous in a way, and with a beautiful shiny chrome color that any decepticon would be jealous of. But by no means is Y/N a fighter, they're far too small and fragile looking. As if you could scratch and dent them with a single touch. Which is just perfect for an undercover job where you don't want to draw any attention

Optimus, yet still under the teachings of Sentinel, is the one in charge of this whole operation. Y/N likes it this way. Sentinel gives to many creepy uncle vibes, meanwhile Optimus is the perfect dilfy father figure that Y/N loves to get ordered around by. It's not like it's a secret either, just like Megatron, Y/N has a fatal flaw as well. They really cannot suppress their "lubricants" per se. But rest assured, most aubots are appalled by decepticons. It's just in their nature, and perhaps being flawed will make Y/N fit in even more, seeing as most decepticons do have their flaws.

Regardless of the dangers ahead, Y/N is ready to take their order from "daddy Optimus" as they call him. They've been training for this since the moment the decepticons even thought of any war. That's just because the autobots are more quick on the uptake when it comes to noticing problems with their "neighbors." There are a few rules that have to be followed to ensure the safety of Y/N and this entire scheme. Number 1, there will be no fighting. It would cause far too much of a scene and Y/N isn't the right bot to choose to fight. Number 2, a mic must be worn at all times as well as an earpiece. Just in case anything happens to Y/N or they somehow get swayed to switch sides by the decepticons. And number 3, never admit to anything. To ensure this, there is poison hidden in Y/N's core that can go off any point they decide, only in emergency.

With all that settled, Y/N is ready to infiltrate the decepticons and is to leave the next day.
