The girl's eyes weren't the innocent blue crystal eyes that Ethan knew of. When she turned her head, their eyes met. Ethan's spin ran cold. Her eyes were full of hatred, and full of blood, literal blood.

She hissed at him, her mouth wide open with fangs that were outlined with black goo. She turned her head even more, hearing the cracks of her neck as if the neck was breaking.

"Anna?" Ethan stepped back as he kept on looking at her.

The girl charged at Ethan, her hands that were now claws. Ethan's heels dug deep in the earth as he ran as fast as he could. His heart beat out of his chest to the point that it could burst open his chest. The trees before him were tall, lifeless, and nightly black. They seemed like tall poles as Ethan ran past them. The sky didn't seem like a sky at all anymore as he ran. The ground was so lifeless too. Not a single blade of grass was green; it was all a brown yellow and dried up.

Something sharp dug into the center of Ethan's back. Something that made him fall straight on his face. Something that practically paralyzed his whole back.

He screamed as the pain on his back became so overwhelming for him. He tried to move, but the pain was pushing him to the ground, even crying was making the force of pain worse.

Something grabbed Ethan's shoulder and aggressively threw him on his back. When his back hit the ground, a massive shot of pain ran up his body. He screamed as the pain went all over his body.

Ethan's scream was silenced when he saw what was hovering over him. A monster that had bloody eyes and a smile full of black goo.

"Where's my resting place?" The monster growled.

"A-A-A-Anna," he stuttered. "I d-d-d-don't know where i-i-it is-s-s."

She hiss at him. "Where. Is. My. Resting. Place?" She repeated with a voice that was getting angrier and angrier.

Ethan swallowed hard. "Anna, I don't know where it is! I swear! I don't know where I put you!" He yelped.

Tears strolled down his face at the monster looked deep into his eyes.

The monster growled again and brought its face closer to Ethan. "I know where your resting place is...brother."

Ethan's spine froze. The way she said it sounded like she was making a promise.

The monster's sharp claws were angrily and proudly stabbed into Ethan's stomach. Ethan's screams echoed the forest as the claws of this monster slowly and passionately ripped his stomach apart. Ethan was crying harder than he ever did in his life as this monster ripped him apart. He felt and heard his organs get ripped and thrown out of him.

Everything stopped. Somehow, Ethan was still alive from all of the ripping. It seemed as if the monster wasn't going to cause any harm. Maybe this monster was going to show him mercy. Maybe it would give him back all of his organs and this would all be a terrible dream.

Ethan knew too late that it wasn't a dream.

The monster appeared on top of him again and in front of his face.

"Please," he whispered. "Please forgive me, Anna. Please."

"You killed me for your little friends...brother. Maybe if you loved me, you would of actually taken me to the hospital instead of the witches. You watched them sacrifice him."

"Anna!" He painfully wailed. "Anna, I'm so sorry! Please forgive me! Please!"

She shook her head.

Her claws quickly impaled deep into his neck before another word came out of his mouth.

Anna felt her brother's pulse slow down and eventually stop.

"You should be sorry," is all she said before she took her hand out and...well, she did something that is so hard to describe to a reader like yourself. Let's just say that a girl who was abandoned by her brother and was killed because of it has her own special way of getting revenge. And now, she is the monster that her brother has become.

Every monster must have their meals in order to survive.
