Dinner and a proposal?

Violet's POV: *We arrive at Cincinnati,Ohio for the next show, but we're all starving and Folio suggests 'Sugar and Spice' which I guess is a diner that he's been to before when they were on their 'Finding God Before God Finds Me' Tour.*

Folio: Guys, We haven't been to this place in like 2 years since COVID shut the world down.

Noah: *I hold the door open for everyone, then as we're all seated Folio and I just so happen to sit next to violet on either side.*

*Both Folio and Noah hold either one of Violet's hands and Jolly looks at them raising his eyebrow, but not questioning anything.*

Folio: Guys I'm thinking of getting pancakes, with bacon, potatoes and biscuits and gravy.

Noah: Damn dude, are you hungry? Also it's like dinner time?

Folio: Breakfast for dinner Davis, breakfast for dinner *I say smirking because Noah absolutely hates being called by his last name.*

Noah: *I groan at the sound of my last name* Folio if you keep calling me by my last name I'm gonna legally change it to just my middle name.

Violet: *I clear my throat* Violet Davis sounds so pretty, just in case you were curious. *I keep my eyes on the menu, already feeling Noah staring at me*

Noah: *I smile* Violet Davis huh? I like it. What do you think, Folio?

Folio: *I began to stutter* I- I um.. Yeah sounds nice Vi... *I began to feel a little jealous, realizing my place in this situation.*

Jolly: I personally love Violet Davis, or what if you two go specifically by Sebastian- Davis? Like Violet's name would be Violet Sebastian- Davis?

*As Jolly says this, Folio clears his throat* Are we ready to order?

*Everyone orders their food, and chats some more as they wait*

Jolly: So Vi, what kind of wedding would you and Noah want? Something simple? Something extravagant? Ooh what about a forest type wedding?

Violet: *I blush at the thought of Noah and I getting married.* I honestly love the idea of a forest wedding, but it would be up to Noah as well, plus we haven't been dating that long, we've only been together 8 months.

*Noah clears his throat, trying to change the subject* So our show tomorrow night, should we plan out what song we're gonna play last? I know we usually play 'Dethrone' last but i'm kinda feeling 'Just Pretend' what do you guys think?

Folio: I like that idea, it's the song you wrote for Vi, right?

Noah: Yup, It's very special to me. What do you think Vi?

Violet: Yeah sounds good Noah.

*Noah frowns, realizing the change of tone and mood Violet's in.* Baby what's wrong?

Folio: Dude you literally ignored Vi's thoughts about a wedding and changed the subject, you hurt her feelings, if that's not already obvious.

Noah: Baby I didn't mean to change the subject, I'm sorry..

*Suddenly the food comes, giving violet no time to respond, as everyone just starts eating*

Noah: *As I ate I began to wonder what if violet and I did get married? Would folio be okay with us calling the whole three way thing off? Would he be mad? Does he have feelings for her?*

*Violet then excuses herself to use the bathroom, and I follow behind her* Baby please talk to me..

Violet: Do you not want to marry me? I mean I get it, it's only been 8 months but... *suddenly I stop.*

Noah: But what baby? What's on your mind?

Violet: I love you... I really do love you, I can't see myself being with anyone else...

Noah: *I smile at those three words.* Babygirl, I love you with all of my heart. I wanted to wait to say it because I didn't wanna scare you but I'm in love with you, and I can't imagine my life without you. I do wanna marry you one day. Why do you think I wrote 'Just Pretend'? I love you more than every star in the universe, Forever & Always babygirl, I want you to know that.

Violet: *I kiss Noah, with deep love and linger for about 3 seconds before pulling away* You're absolutely everything to me, you know that? And I hope one day, we can have a life together as a married couple. You saved my life Noah Sebastian.

*Noah smiles and hugs Violet, knowing deep down, this would be the girl he would be marrying*
