Mahir's pov:
It was 7 in the morning when I woke up. I went directly to the washroom to freshen up and headed towards the gym area. I did my workout and went towards my room to get ready for the office. I wore a black colour suit and went near the drawer to check my phone and outfit. With one more glance on the mirror I went out of my room.
The notification popped up and it was mail from Shekhawat Enterprises by seeing that a smile appeared on my lips and I started reading the mail. In that mail she had invited us for the urgent board meeting of her father's company.
I dialled the number of my partner and my best friend Akhil Suryawanshi in one ring and picked up the call. I know he would have also read that mail. I said " Hey, did you read that mail . We have to go to their company at sharp 10. I will be picking up you at 9:30 and no more delay "
Akhil said " Kya yaar, bahut jyada jaldi hai bhabhi se milne ki lagta hai duri bardasht nahi ho rhi" ( Is it too much of a hurry to meet my Sister-in-law ? It feels like you can't bear this distance) He was teasing him with a smirk on his face.
Mahir replied " Shut up and get ready. I'm again repeating no delay, man" Akhil just nodded.

I was waiting for Akhil in front of his mansion. As usual he is late. After a few minutes he came out of his Mansion and headed towards my car and sat on the passenger seat beside me because I like to drive.
I said " You are again late man" He just nodded.
I again said " By the way this outfit suits you man."
He smiled widely and got busy in scrolling Instagram as if I was invisible to him 😒
