I jolted from my bed, heaving and sweating. Dali-dali akong napahawak sa leeg ko sa place kung saan ito ni-slash ng strange na shadow mula panaginip ko. It felt so real...
I was relieved dahil hindi totoo ang pangyayari na yun. It was just a nightmare.
I reached for my phone and turned off the alarm. Sakto, 7:00 am. Pinunasan ko ang pinagpapawisang noo ko at umalis sa higaan at inayos ito
Pagkatapos ko ayusin ang kama ko, pumasok ako sa banyo para maligo. After taking a bath, I proceeded to the kitchen to eat breakfast. I took 2 slices of white bread and took out a carton box of fresh milk from my mini-fridge and poured my glass some.
And finally, I put on my school uniform, wore my socks, my bag and then I'm ready to go to school.
But, oh. One last thing.
I opened one of my mini-drawers and took out a diamond necklace. It was a gift for my 17th birthday last November given by my mother who passed away last year. Mejo late ito naibigay saakin ng tita ko ngunit I'm so grateful dahil may iniwan saakin si mama na mahalagang bagay.

I received a message from someone and immediately replied it with a smile. I pocketed my phone before leaving my unit.
Paglabas ko ng unit ko, I head straight to the elevator and went in. Pressed the botton to the lowest floor and the door closed. I can see my reflection from the door of the elevator. Nagtaka ako,, bakit kaya ako nanaginip ng ganon? And bakit ba andun si Ayla?
May pinanood ba akong horror video kaya ako nanaginip ng ganon? But that's impossible, I never liked watching horror videos/movies, especially dahil mag-isa lang ako nakatira sa unit ko. Maybe I'll ended up having sleep-overs with my neighbours if I watch some. That's crazy. But true.
Kung naaalala ko lang, parang ang last time na nagka-nightmare ako is nung 5 years old pa ata ako nun, kasama ko pa ang tatay ko. He's the one who comforted me and tucked me back to bed.
Hayss...Miss ko na mga magulang ko. I wish I still have them by my side. Those old memories..

Nakarating na ako sa first floor. Dumiretso ako sa exit-an at nag log-out muna sa security bago tumuloy sa labas ng apartment.
