Dear Corkscrew,

How are you this morning? Mine's not going well. I cannot for my sanity decide between Cyan and Burgundy. Can you help me? Attaching my rough draft.

    From,
Confused Artist
who is very close
to his deadline.

Dear Confused Artist
who is very close
to his deadline,

I am glad you are selfish aware that the deadline is close. Infact, you have to ship it out today by seven so that the gallery can set it up for tomorrow.

Also, will you be there tomorrow?

P.S. Cyan.

Yours truly,
A very frustrated
and serious PR Manager.

"Is that the artist you're managing?" Khushi, her ex-sister in law asked. Drishti truly loved that woman. She wasn't sure why her brother couldn't get together with her, despite of knowing that they loved each other.

      "Yes."

Khushi sighed, "You're smiling  awfully lot while talking to that person."

They were at a cafe meeting up for their weekly brunch. Thrown away by the question, Drishti took a bite of her croissant. She took her sweet time chewing it and sipping her Lemon iced tea.

"No? That's not it. We're very professional."

Khushi babhi smiled at her in a way that meant that she had caught her lying. "Dee won't like it if you start dating a client. You know? You're treading dangerous waters."

"Babhi.... it's nothing like that. I don't even know what the man looks like."

Drishti watched her babhi take a sip of her latte. Her wrists were thinking and she looked tired. Even though Drishti knew that babhi had overcome cancer, still she couldn't help but worry. Khushi had looked so weak and she hadn't missed the wave of sadness that passed through her eye when she had called Khushi babhi.

"Exactly. What if he's like a billion years old? And you come to this sudden realisation that you've been flirting with a senior citizen. What then, Dishu?"

Drishti had all those doubts but she was sure that he wasn't an old man. She was someone who believed in good vibes and she got really good vibes from this person. Plus her Instagram fyp tarot reels gave signs that he was the one.

She knew that it was extremely foolish but she had already fallen for him. "Oh come on babhi, Shah is definitely not an old man. We discuss kdramas fyi. I don't think an old guy can discuss kdramas much less watch them."

"That's a solid argument. Oh how will I ever counter that?" Her babhi said sarcastically.

"And by the way, we're planning to meet tomorrow."

They were outside by now and Khushi babhi had already flagged a taxi. She was waiting for her car.

"Oh! It's a date then. What are you wearing?!"
