Kai sat in the interrogation room, his eyes fixed on Hiro as he entered with Tyson.

"Long time no talk, Kai," Hiro said, taking a seat across from him.

"I want to talk to my lawyer," Kai replied firmly.

Hiro leaned forward. "We both know I can't keep you here for more than a few hours on domestic violence charges. Please, listen to me. I know what you're going to say."

"My answer will never change, Hiro," Kai said.

"I understand your pain, Kai," Hiro said softly.

"Understand?" Kai's voice rose. "Have you ever felt what I've gone through? My father was killed before my birth. My mother died giving birth to me. Aunt Lily, who raised me, was killed. She left Ivy under my protection, but I failed her. Ivy was everything to me - cousin, friend, sister. That bastard killed her!"

Kai yelled loudly, his anger boiling over.

"Kai, my brother is trying to help you," Tyson intervened calmly.

"Brother?" Kai sneered. "You mean Hiro is your elder brother? Let me kill you, Tyson. Then only I believe that Hiro knows my pain."

Tyson replied, "Ivy was close to Chief Hiro also, he went through the same as you after her death."

Hiro's expression turned gentle. "Kai, I always see you and Ivy as my siblings. You both were just like Tyson to me."

Hiro urged, "Kai, think of Natasha, think of your daughters, think of Ivy. Ivy wants you to have a happy life."

Kai's gaze dropped, his shoulders sagging.

Kai's voice cracked with exhaustion. "Hiro, I'm done. I've lost everything. Just leave me alone."

Hiro's expression turned urgent. "Kai, don't give up. Think of Natasha and your unborn daughters. They need you now more than ever."

Kai shook his head, his eyes clouded with doubt. "I don't know, Hiro. This mafia world is all I know , I was bron in this world. And now I need its power to keep them safe ."

Hiro's voice remained steady. "There's a better way, Kai. A life free from violence. Let me help you find it."

Kai's gaze searched Hiro's, seeking a glimmer of hope. "Can I really leave it all behind?"

Hiro nodded. "With my help, yes. You can start anew. Natasha and your daughters deserve a future without fear."

Kai's shoulders sagged, weighing his options. "I want to believe you, Hiro. But can I trust you?"

Hiro's eyes locked onto Kai's. "I've always considered you family, Kai. Trust me, and I'll guide you through this."

"I want to see Natasha," Kai said, his voice filled with longing.

Hiro nodded sympathetically. "I'll arrange it, Kai. But first, promise me you'll consider leaving this life behind."

Kai's eyes locked onto Hiro's, his expression resolute. "I want to see Natasha and my daughters. I'll do whatever it takes to keep them safe."

Hiro's expression softened. "I'll make the arrangements, Kai."

An hour later, Kai finally reunited with Natasha. His heart sank as he took in her fragile appearance. Her cheeks were wrapped in bandages, a stark reminder of the pain she'd endured.

Without a word, Kai gently kissed her forehead, his lips trembling with emotion. Natasha's eyes fluttered open, and a faint smile crossed her lips.

"Kai," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
