  I was walking through the corridor of my office while going through my today's schedule -
  "Sir,Mr. Thomas had arrived for the Manhattan project and he's asking for you and your metting with The Storms had been postponed." said one of my employee.

A chuckle left my mouth as I heard the name of my new "co-partner" well well let's have some fun my EX-SASURJI !

As I entered the room it was quite since there were no-one except me and him.He turned back and I saw him well the same man with walrus moustache and green eyes which reminded me of ...... Her
I quickly looked away still dwelled with her thoughts,why the fuck was she everytime on my mind??

He greeted me with a smile and a small hello to which I replied the  same.

Taking my chair I responded with the grudge,"Let's get directly to the point Mr.Thomas,as we both are under this contract I would like to say you that now I'm in a higher position than you,so please don't behave like you did those in earlier times because neither this is the old Ryan nor the old company ."

To my satisfaction I saw his face becoming dull which was shining just a moment ago before I spoke and he just nodded.

                      ﹏ Lily's Pov﹏

As I walked downstairs to get my hot chocolate I saw mum's gloomy face; not helping me to resist it I asked her,
"Mum why do you look a lil bit sad today, everything's good right?"

She looked at me with a smile and told everything's fine but I knew something was off.As I was sipping my hot chocolate,mum said,"Dear you are still not ready Barasha must be coming."

Oh shit how can I forget we had to go to cafeteria for discussing details about the children's gifts!!I quickly placed my cup and ran upwards to get ready and call her as mum shouted,"Come on dear atleast finish your drink!!"
"Sorry mum I'm so late I need to get ready asap."

I quickly called my best-friend,Barasha,"Barshuuu I'm so sorry but I'll be a lil late please don't get upset my dear I'll try to be on time."
"Lil babes I'm not upset ok?! But yaa try to be fast I'm leaving shall I pick you up with me?"

"Ofc that will be even helpful now imma get ready byee yaa."I said with a slight giggle to which she smiled and  replied "Ofc Lil lily" well that's what she calls me~

Suddenly my phone rang and it was dad but why was he calling me at this time isn't he busy most of the time at this hour specially?

I quickly answered the call but I was met with silence...
